Not sure if this is the place to ask but I am curious about the Monogatari Series. I do not know much about it but so many people here have watched it. I looked it up online but cant really put my thumb on it on what kind of genre it belongs to. Anybody willing to say a few words about it.

Also the naming sequence from Bake to current are they seasons?

It is a pretty big series to take in and difficult to put into a few words. I would recommend reading the wiki page to do some research on it.

I will say that the series is really good but not for everyone. Lots of talking with a very interesting story and characters. I would say the series is mostly a supernatural romantic comedy of sorts. All of it is on Crunchyroll if you want to check it out for yourself. Start with the first season which is Bakemonogatari.

Always here to help. But I think you just need to watch a couple of episodes to see if you would even like it before getting into it to much. Cause there are 4 seasons, OVAS, and 3 movies which are currently being released.

I have some recent reviews up in "What have you just finished watching" section above. Basically it's a supernatural show that superficially looks like your typical harem show but let's just say it gets a little deeper and after the first season is anything but typical. It has a unique art style to compliment to the heavy dialogue, both of which either make people fans or turn them off. It's unique and well done in all aspects and I highly recommend it though even I will admit it took multple viewings and reading some other reviews to make me appreciate some of it.

You guys are selling me on this hook line and sinker. I'll probably blind buy it in Oct/Nov cause man September is a doozy with all the Superhero TV series releases and the summer blockbuster movies hitting the shelves its bleeding my wallet dry!

Nah just Bakemonogatari set and I'll try to get one a month after that. I make good money but not that good with all type of other expenses haha.

Fair. That is how I treat Aniplex titles too. One or two a month. Although this year is pretty difficult with how much they are releasing. Especially now that they are re-releasing Fate/Zero in October.
