I expect the CGI to be phenomenal if that is the case, because they've had all that time to render the CGI to its most realistic state.

I can't imagine the quality will be any different from the other films, hell the budget on the film is by a slight margin the lowest of the four.

The UK theater chain Cineworld has listed the release date for 'Godzilla vs. Kong' as June 18, 2021 on their website. However, this new date is likely either incorrect or it only represents the film's release date in the UK and not elsewhere.

Legendary is owned by Wanda Group, if I were WB I'd listen long and hard on what Legendary has to say. WB kinda needs the Chinese market.

I know it’s more whingeing on my part, but I really am keeping my fingers crossed that May stays firm, simultaneous release or not.

Just announce the delay already. Legendary had multiple opportunities to release this. And of course they could have hired a better director to begin with so they didn’t need massive reshoots. Legendary deserves their fate.

From what I hear, this is not correct. Legendary (the production company) put up most of the budget for both GvK and Dune. WB is the distribution company.
