Never seen King of Comedy myself sadly. That, Who's That Knocking At My Door, Kundun, After Hours, and New York, New York are the only Scorsese films that I haven't seen (Other than his shorts and documentaries which I haven't seen anything yes I know).

Who's Knocking at My Door, Boxcar Bertha and Bringing Up The Dead need releases. In case of BB a new release that's not limited.

Ah, then you get a pass. Watch it when you can. His comedies are brilliant. After Hours is one of my favorite films of all time.

Amazingly, I've never seen The King of Comedy either. I finally recently saw The Color of Money and I had to add that one to my list because I liked it so much. But yes, I must watch TKOC asap.

Sorry, I only have a Top 2 and after that it's a crapshoot and hard to rank because there are so many good ones:

1. KUNDUN
2. THE AGE OF INNOCENCE

Top 2 WORST Scorsese movies (sorry to their fans!):

1. SHUTTER ISLAND
2. NEW YORK, NEW YORK

I've seen most Scorsese films but never given a thought to how I'd rank them - so a "Top 2" works for me for the same reason.

Genuinely, the two works I've most enjoyed are:

1. Casino
2. My Voyage to Italy

Has anyone here seen SILENCE from 2016? I have yet to see it, but I'm very curious about it.

I picked it up as a blind-buy about a month ago after watching Under the Silver Lake and being especially impressed with Andrew Garfield - whom I knew very little about. As he plays one of the leads in Silence, it seemed like a good time to order. Of course, I haven't got around to it yet...

Does anybody else find the Criterion website frustrating to browse through? Is there a way to list the titles from latest release to oldest?

Wouldn't a reverse sort by spine number be a good approximation?

Silence is a hell of an achievement and probably the very hardest Scorsese film to watch. I can't really say I liked it or will ever gird myself to watch it again, but I also remember it intensely. Something tells me Scorsese would be very happy with that reaction.

I’m in. Best review ever in terms of recommending a movie to ME!
