Received my Mortal Kombat steelbooks today..Battle For the Realms dented on the bottom of the front. No copies available near me and don't want to order another just for the possibility of it also being damaged since these have been on clearance for a while. Just a bad dice roll this time.

Stopped in and picked up Rosemary's Baby 4K and Ninja Turtles 4K over the weekend. Movies were pretty barren overall.

I noticed that they've also ramped up speaking to every customer when you walk in the doors now. They've always asked if you need help since COVID, but now they're stopping people and handing out sale flyers and telling them to look for special tags and QR codes for more deals. I don't know if people actually...like this? I guess it makes things more personable, but I find it annoying.

Maybe I’m antisocial but I prefer not to be bothered while shopping. I’m especially annoyed by Target and Walmart adding sales people who flag you down in the store even when it’s obvious you’re trying to avoid them. Not every store needs to be a Trader Joe’s checkout lane.

Do BBY stores still have physical media? If so, how accurate is the stock info on the website? I'm hoping to get Hugo 4K for $15 (I know the price is wrong on the site), but there are apparently none in stock within 250 miles. How accurate is this?

Some still have a limited stock, while some have already eliminated all movies from the store. The stock locator isn’t always accurate.

Two days ago, I found Hugo 4k for $15 (as well as Swamp Thing 4K for $16) at my store; website had showed none within 250 miles. I've seen other posts here of similar experiences, so the stock info is apparently not always accurate. Worth a look.

The NBK 4k steelbook is actually a repurposed Blu-ray steelbook. It has a Blu-ray logo on the spine. No UltraHD logo.

The site said my local store had Donnie Darko, Rain Man and 12 Monkeys, so I ordered them for ISPU. But I also found Mallrats and Hugo at the store even though the site said they had none, so YMMV.

I'm really going to miss Best Buy's in store pricing on Arrow releases being less than 50% of MSRP. No need to wait for sales.

Not possible at my location (or any that I know of in Maine.) The exits are right next to the entrance. The employees are stationed right between the two. It's unavoidable.
