This is just one of severals reasons why I think Tua might not be as great a prospect as so many believe. Aside from his injuries, he seems a product of the Bama's Saban system. It's a lot easier to look great with a bullet-proof offensive line and all the time in the world to throw the ball. Bama just plugs in a backup QB and still puts up huge offensive numbers.
The NFL is much, much faster.

The defensive coordinators and schemes are way more complex in the NFL too.

Oh, you just know Paul Finebaum is going to be honking hard for both LSU and Georgia to make the playoffs regardless of the outcome of the SEC Championship game, even if LSU kicks their asses. He'll make an argument for both Bama and Georgia to still get that 4th spot over Utah or Oklahoma.

SEC: LSU (-4.5) vs. Georgia
PAC-12: Utah (-4.5) vs. Oregon
ACC: Clemson (-28.5) vs. Virginia
Big Ten: Ohio St. (-14) vs. Wisconsin
Big 12: Oklahoma (-9.5) vs. Baylor

Barring an upset it looks like the playoff is going to be:
1. Ohio St. vs. 4. Oklahoma
2. LSU vs. 3. Clemson

Interestingly enough, no #1 seed has ever won a playoff. The 2 seeds have won three times, the 4 seeds twice.

I don't really hate Saban, nor do I like him. Just saying what probably 90% of people who hate Alabama hate most. I'm genuinely surprised you don't understand why the man is generally disliked. He's one of the top coaches of all-time. He's also a colossal d*ckhead.

but i just find it strange that people laugh when Alabama loses a game. yet i never see it or hear about it when another team loses a game. it's like Alabama is universally hated for some reason. and i'm just trying to figure out why. Alabama has won a decent amount of games. Michigan has won more games than any other team, yet i never hear about people hating them as much as they do Alabama (aside from Ohio State fans; but that's their main rival so it's to be expected).

and paying players? IF Alabama has ever paid players, do you think they'd be the only school that has. I know of one school that did, in fact, pay a player. and that player got the whole conversation on tape. he then turned that tape into the ncaa. know what happened? nothing! absolutely nothing! why? i have no idea.

hell, smu did the same thing. but they got caught and were given what was called "the death penalty".

so if Alabama has ever paid, or will ever pay, a player(s), they certainly would never be the first nor the last.

I think more than anything people are tired of Alabama constantly winning. I personally don’t mind them as much as some people, but there’s definitely a feeling of celebrating today amongst college football fans.

blah, blah, blah.......Hey I'm a Maryland & University of Maine fan so I suffer. But tell us, what team do you dislike. I want no less than 6 paragraphs dissecting every possible scenario that we could think of to ask you in advance.

You know, people can dislike teams because the coaches are jerks, team wins too much, drugs, cheating, scandals, etc. I don't think you'd have a problem with people hating on Alabama either if you didn't live there. Relax & have a beer.
