First month in like a year that I'm not picking anything up. Really thought Memories of Murder would be there. Waiting on reviews for the Wong Kar Wai films, as I'm not too into the revisionism happening here. Kinda curious if it will include both versions of the films, but it seems unlikely.

Out of all announcements that have been made for 2021 so far, I only care for one release. However, I see quite a few highly-requested films coming and I’m happy for those that will be excited for these releases.

Been waiting on CELINE for years, so I'm thrilled.

Def. in for the Mike Leigh and this is a major one I haven't seen yet.

Happy to upgrade my old snap case DVD of DEFENDING YOUR LIFE.

I recently watched Defending Your Life for the first time since i was a kid. Didn't really enjoy it as a kid, but I loved it as an adult. Definitely picking that one up.

As for the other titles just announced, I haven't seen any of them yet, but am intrigued.

Touki Bouki was very good. I didn't like the animal curety in the movie though.

Interesting about Touki Bouki getting a solo release. I wonder if any other WCP releases will get the same treatment? I remember people being upset about Taipei Story not getting a solo release for instance.

I feel like Taipei Story or Mysterious Object at Noon could be the next break outs.

I could also see Taipei Story in an Edward Yang set.

I almost bought the BFI Celine and Julie Go Boating. Nice to see this get a stateside release. Will pick this up.

If the director is alive they have final say on the Cover art. so call up Albert Brooks and complain.
