No surprise. It was a True Detective ripoff that came too late to cash in. Also, does anyone really care about a show starring "that one guy from Gossip Girl"?

I was never a faithful watcher of the show but I really enjoyed it when I was young and it was Talk Soup and Greg Kinnear and then John Henson hosted, and then would watch it sporadically when Joel McHale became host. I can't say I'll miss the show, but I enjoyed it in the rare instances I watched it because it truly seemed nothing was off limits.

I'd assume they'll have to replace a lot of the cast. Wayward Pines was shot in 2013 until early 2014 so by the time the show actually aired the studios option on all the cast contract had expired, so they'll have to work to sign whoever they want to return to new contracts and it's possible some of the people they want to return may be busy with different shows, movies, or could already be signed on to pilots or holding deals.

Wayward Pines was big in Germany. Wouldn't be surprised if Season Two was an international co-production (much like how all three seasons of Hannibal were).

Meanwhile, has it been confirmed if Jessica Jones will get a Season Two or will Marvel save the announcement for next week (I have a feeling it will be announced on Wednesday if it hasn't been confirmed)?
