Haven't ordered much 3d recently due to the fact that most of the titles I want have gone up in price but decided to order Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter from ebay for $6.

Last night watched Metallica Through the Never. Shot in Native 3D. If you have even a passing appreciation for Metallica you owe it to yourself to watch this. Really liked how the concert was set up with an enormous stage in the round. Over the top stage "bits" that worked, though I always think of Spinal Tap. There was one stage bit towards the end of the show that I felt flopped.

The side story with Cole DeHann was interesting and surprisingly timely but there was some graphic imagery. However I think the Venn diagram overlap of Metallica fans and the faint of heart is pretty miniscule.

Sound was great and 3D really worked. More depth and layering with not a lot of pop out. They really did this right.

Hoping the Peter Gabriel 3D concert movie New Blood will also be a treat. Ive always liked the Scorpions but I dont think the feedback/reviews of their 3D concert movie have been very positive.
Yeah I own the Metallica disc and the 3D is brilliant.
I've been tempted to buy the German release as it has Atmos so can only Imagine how good that sounds.

Just ordered a used copy of R. I. P. D.

Although Kenneth Brown didn't give a glowing review of the 3D, many on amazon thought highly on it and said it enhanced this comedy

I thought the movie and 3D were good. Didn't agree with the reviews. I'm sure you will like it. Hey I had one that you didn't.

Just got finished watching Terminator 2. It was an outstanding conversion! I've seen the movie at least a dozen times but first time in 3D. It really brought new life into the movie especially for a few scenes. The last scene in the steel mill was really great - it looked like it was filmed originally with 3D in mind. I've only seen a few of the post-conversions of older movies but this one is my favorite.

Inferno is one of the best 3D offerings out there. Stunning depth and a good film to boot.

If you like Arnold, Predator is also a good conversion, although some complained about the dnr.

Finally got around to watching my copy of Man of Steel last night. I really enjoyed it! Now I am sorry that I did not watch it sooner after buying it.

The 3D was good, with what I perceived as fairly consistent depth. There wasn't a ton of stuff popping out, but the 3D definitely enhanced the movie.

It was actually based in the 90s hence references to Blockbuster and a lot of 90s songs in the soundtrack. But I agree with others here that I actually liked this movie although some of that may be some bias since I grew up in the 90s and loved all of the references. It continued the Marvel Cinematic Universe story and set up the next movies well enough. There's also a cool call-back to it if you are watching WandaVision on Disney+. As far as the 3D, I thought it wasn't bad in this.

Watched Viy last night. Wife didn't like it, and I mostly enjoyed for the 3d and special effects (albeit some cheesy sfx). The 3d is good to great with plenty of depth and pop-outs. Sort of an oddity in that they dubbed 3/4 of the movie and the other 1/4 is original English. I gave it a 7/10 and wife gives it a 5. For serious 3d lovers it's still a must-have.

Really wish they would release Viy 2 in 3d somewhere. That looks fun in 3d!

I thought the whole movie was dubbed, with the English actors dubbing themselves.
