They're adding £2 premium pricing to Star Wars in the UK at Odeon branches. Following on from the success with the scheme from Spectre. I'm getting a bit sick of this sort of inflation, considering that cost doesn't even cover the additional 3D charges as well. Not only is it just a bit of a rip off, considering you're not getting any different treatment from any other films being shown. But they're also dissuading customers with this premium pricing to see other films that are lower priced because general audiences will apply the blanket term that the cinema is simply "too expensive".

Not only that, but it's already increased 50p from Bond which increased 50p from The Martian, by the time Bats v Sups comes out, they'll be chucking £3 on top, next Summer it may be up to a £5 at this rate.

Not sure if anyone has heard this, but rumor is this film will be rated PG-13.

Discuss.

Not a rumor. Confirmed. The latest TV spots even carry the rating.

Harrison Ford has seen TFA.

His review?

Quote:
“It was great,” Ford said of watching the franchise back on the big screen again. “It’s a wonderful movie, it’s got great production values. It’s a real big movie and I was delighted to see it.”

That's a weird quote from Ford. The movie was so great that the only thing he can highlight about its greatness is the "production values"? Must be NDA'd up the ass, I hope.

Funny thing about the rating is that Lucas wanted the original Star Wars to get a PG rating because he thought that if it got a G it would be seen as a kiddie Disney movie.

The Odeon is awful, I'm saddled with one in my town, but I'm making special trips to Showcase and VUE cinemas as my nearest ones are much better in terms of quality.

"It's got great production values."
I hope that's not the biggest positive he has to say about it.
