Received my Hara-Kiri! I know the 3D is forgettable but love the movie. It's like visual yoga to me.

Total count is 72.

Hi osmosis,

Did you order the one from that Greek seller who included English subtitles?

That Greek seller is a bootlegger so please try not to send too much business his way.

Hi 13

I know that. Do not buy any title from him that is available legally. Even those out of print

With all due respect, bootlegs are illegal whether the titles are available elsewhere or not, and they shouldn't be promoted here.

If you want to pay for them instead of just downloading them for free like the bootlegger has done, keep it to yourself.

I’m sure the movie industry would consider them illegal, which is why manufacturers don’t make them. My point is it’s hard to be the police.

Whelp watched Freddy Frogface/Freddy Tete de Crapaud with the kids last night. It was not as horrendous as the reviews say, but not great either. If you like animated stuff with that European feel, might be worth it for less than $10. 2nd or 3rd tier animation company level stuff. Foreground objects were fairly dimensional, but layering Ive come to expect wasnt there. Best part was the fancy lenticular cover.

Also watched Ghost Rider sequel. Ruined by a bad disc that kept freezing despite the typical efforts to clean it. Im sending back for scratches and a nicked side of disc. 3d was okay, even good in a few spots. CGI of his flaming skull looked pretty good. I think in my old age Ive grown more appeciative of questionable Nic Cage movies but unsure why. Perhaps worth it for super hero movie completists, but wouldnt recommend to the general 3d public.

Also since my time mgmt skills are crap, added most of my 3d movies to my Collection on here. Only adding 3d movies to stick it to The Man who pulled his international strings to try to kill 3D..

It is, but there are a few prolific bootleggers out there and every time they are mentioned it probably pushes a fair bit of business their way, which is not what this site is for.

Default Dark Flight

Watched this last night. The translated dialog is silly as it often is when Asian languages are translated to English and since the movie didn't have an English track, I had subtitles on which messes with my enjoyment of 3D.

The 3D was okay (not a lot of negative parallax) still and had several nice scenes so I may just watch it again with sound and subtitles off and make up my own dialog. It's just a haunted airplane story so you don't need real dialog anyway.

Youll be pleased to know there is due to be a English language reboot of this starring that guy who was in the Marvel movies. Be on the lookout for "Ghosts on a Mother%$^*ing Plane."

I also am pulling for Kong...

I won't purchase it unless it comes in 3D. So that one is going to be streamed if it happens. Go Kong!

p.s. How is the 3D on Journey to Space? I saw it in your collection.

Hi 13,

I am in agreement with you. It's just so tempting when he is the only source, like this one with 3D AND english subtitles. I

I could not locate any legit copy with those features. As said, tempting. But did it only once with hotel transylvania 3. And had mixed feelings even with that.

You could probably download English subtitles to your phone.

Hi Damon,

I do not have the skill for such things. But I also do not want to get into the habit of supporting bootlegged discs, even if there are none available otherwise

Inferno last week, going for The Mad Magician this weekend. Going to watch The Stooges shorts again also.

In the last month I have watched the following:

House Of Wax
Adam And Six Eves
ICFOS
The Mask
Inferno

Of those, I still believe House Of Wax and Inferno are the best films and also best 3D.

Best depth goes to Inferno
Best pop out goes to bat and ball (House Of Wax) and blowing bubbles (Adam And Six Eves)

Most disappointing 3D goes to The Mask. Easily the worst film also. 3D never left the screen for me. Some decent depth but not top notch like Inferno.
