Fun with Flixster, trying to watch some of those very few items that I only have in Flixster, about 10 days ago my app stopped working, here is the response from tech (via chat):

I am sorry, but your Blu-Ray player is not a supported device for the Flixster Video App. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

Samsung Blu-Ray Smart device, nothing special or weird about it. Apparently they've reduced playback from many Samsung BD devices to a single model

Okay, for whom it might apply or be of interest, I just finished my chat with Flixster:
1. I really had to press the person for details; she did wanted to brush me off with a simple answer.
2. She did finally elaborate details, that Flixster, of all places, will no longer support many Samsung Smart devices because of technical limitations (never mind that they still support my friend's ancient (i.e. 4 year old) Sony streaming device).
3. Because the device (mine is an F5900, about 2 years old) lacks technical power, it will not be supported nor receive any updates which would make it work. As far as BD streaming players go, only(!) the current 7500 UHD device will be supported.
