Yeah Mike Leach is a good coach, I thought about him going to FSU during the coaching search. He is probably a little too awkward for some of the big schools. Then my other question is can he recruit ?

I’m not trying to take this thread to a bad place, but to put this as bluntly as possible, his political beliefs would be an issue with Florida schools while recruiting.

The demographic of the families who have recruits for football in Florida typically are not supportive of Leach’s political viewpoints. Not all, of course, but most. Leach definitely doesn’t keep his options to himself as most coaches do when it comes to things of this nature.

While I will be rooting for Clemson, I think LSU will win it. LSU is probably more hungry for it and Clemson has won it a few times in the past few years so they may be more comfortable. I have more respect for Clemson which is why I’ll be cheering for them. Just don’t ask me to wear orange.

I would think a Bama fan wouldn't cheer for anyone in this game. Clemson wins they would have accomplish something even the great Nick Saban hasn't. Back to back champs in the Playoffs and 30 straight games. If I was a Bama fan no way I'm cheering for Clemson.
