Weird, wonder why that’s different if FCS Football and other sports can’t hold championships. I’m not sure the reason, but you’re probably right. Too much money involved for all parties.

Scores of lawsuits from multiple COVID-19 infections and concomitant debilitating health problems and/or deaths of 18-23-year-olds will dwarf any money lost from a canceled season.

I hate to see the Clemson vs South Carolina streak come to an end. They first played each other in 1896, but haven't missed a year since 1909. That's 111 consecutive games every year. The schools are only about 130 miles apart. I wish some sort of exception could be made. That game is like the Super Bowl in SC.
