OK, you may be right. Don't know; never watched it; don't plan to.

I guess I'll tell ya next time I watch it! Honestly it's been a long time since I watched it, and I'm not even sure it was in 3d. I was a huge gamer, so I think part of it was just having a movie based around the game's lore. I like almost all of Paul Anderson's adaptations despite a lot of flack from other die-hard gamers and non-gamers alike. SH wasn't him, but had a similar feel to me. Guess I'll have to rewatch soon so I'm more prepared for these pop questions

Visually Silent Hill Revelation is amazing, the script and performances are pretty poor though.

I had a bit of a wildlife themed weekend with Enchanted Kingdom 3D, Galapagos 3D (episode 1) and Born to be Wild 3D. All three were very impressive with great 3D.

I also watched Beowulf 3D. I found this very entertaining with some quite fantastic 3D in parts. I must say I am surprised that this was passed with a 12 certificate (and gather that the even more violent director's cut is also rated 12). Shame the longer cut is only available in 2D. I'm unlikely ever to watch it because I can only imagine watching this film in 3D.

Angelina in 3D, definitely R rated.

It does have more negative than positive being French Canadian but I'm glad I am in this case
My bet is they are Region B locked though. I really need to buy a proper region free blu-ray player one of these days.

Watched Hunger Games. Yeah I know it's 2D. Watched using Oppo 3D conversion. Added a little depth, but mainly just made the picture dark. Too much to hope for. On the other hand liked the movie. Wanted to order the new Croods, but not for $40!

OK I’ll bite, what are the negatives? I went to Montreal and thought it was great.

Hi okie

Try using the dynamic modes on both your player and monitor. I do and found this provides a nice bright picture with added depth than standard mode. Use a calibration disc with your 3D glasses on if possible otherwise, suggest you manually tweak a bit the user settings to get the colors etc more in line.

Thanks Joe, my projector doesn’t have any and I tried different Oppo depth settings. I have 3 Oppo picture memories available. 1 for 3D , 1 for 2D and one for live sports. My Oppo only has 3 and I have been leaving the projector flat. Might try just increasing brightness on the 2nd Hunger Games in the projector.

Default The Croods: A New Age 3D

A little pricey at $42.58 but I can’t complain too much. I got 3D and Atmos!

Is there a 3D of Last Emperor or was that just a 2D referral?

I use to have this set, was actually cheaper than the combo at time of my purchase.
