That's a good point. You're clearly out of the map since he flew over the invisible wall that normally stops you when you take that route.

I'll probably end up giving it a try. One day I'll get that Flawless I'm not sure it'll be any different, but curious to see how Crota is when we're all at level 40

There was a post on reddit yesterday or the day before where someone did the math. If they keep increasing damage output per level in the new DLC like they have in the past, it will only take seven swings of the sword to kill Crota at level 40.

I just got this for PS4 and I am surprised how much I enjoy it!
I am currently at level 5 with a Titan.

I still wish I could sell equipment in the crucible. I know you can dismantle them, but I would love to be able to barter with NPCs as well. I always liked that part of Mass Effect.

I can see that Peter Dincklage's voice for Ghost will be replaced in "The Taken King" , but will Bungie also update the game for people who don't buy the DLC?

Dinklage is getting wiped from the game completely

The opening bunch of story missions lay the groundwork for your guardian, the super, the heavy etc. Will you get that anyway if I do PVP after finishing the opening mission, or will it mean I literally end up with a level 20 character with no abilities and no heavy slot?

XP opens up your abilities, not missions. XP is awarded at the end of the missions and strikes. You get plenty of XP while doing crucible. It will eventually max out your subclass.

Got my Warlock to level 8, those yellow wooly legs are so god damn ugly.

In terms of the class, the Warlock was the first class I experienced, when I had a go on my friends long before I owned a copy myself. Coming back to the class now I'm well versed with the game has been an interesting experience.

The first few parks with the starting subclass actually reminded me a LOT of the Hunter's Gunslinger but in a way that was much more friendly in casual play. The melee attack, for example, has a bit of range to it and while it isn't nearly as devastating as the way the Hunter can stab up close and then chuck the knife (and all its modifiers) at the one that got away it's much, much harder to miss the Warlock's Force Push so I'm happy to lose a little damage as a cost.

This is similar to the Nova Bomb, too, the Golden Gun is a far far more powerful attack but it's also much much easier to miss. Even with later perks, I see more Golden Gun's arcing over enemies than I do into them. Even before I have any of Nova Bomb's upgrades, the ridiculous blast radius has practically erased any need to aim, I've smashed it clean into walls and still got a kill. On the flipside though once again, whereas Golden Gun is guaranteed to kill if it lands, the Nova Bomb takes a big hit on damage to make it easier with some Guardians taking my Bomb head on and still coming back for more. While this is frustrating, it isn't nearly as frustrating as watching your Super just miss and completely fizzle out, so I can deal with it.

The saddest thing is, I'm pretty sure I got that helmet and dismantled it. I had no intentions of ever making a Warlock as I never cared for Jay's but after I really didn't get on well with my Titan I changed my mind. Damnit.

So looking at the latest news on the levelling system, despite the Light Gear being removed (for levelling at least) and replaced with a more conventional XP based levelling system, we're still completely defined by our Light level any way and so nothing has really changed?

From the way they make it sound Light Stat > XP Level. You can get to max level just by playing Crucible with White Items but it won't mean anything because your Light Level will be so low. The guy who did Crucible until 25, and then went and did VOG and got the VOG gear is going to have a huge Light Stat meaning he's going to be stronger, even though you're fifteen XP levels ahead. Light Gear was sorta dumb but this just sounds complicated and nonsensical

The light level on legendary armor s/b the same across the board once the dlc comes out. Same for exotics.

So if you get armor from the vanguard or whoever, it'll all be the same light level.

Any armor from he new raid will be a higher light level. Exotics s/b the same light level as the new raid gear.

Same as it has been up to this point.

OK a couple of quick question I figure you veterans would know how to do this stuff.

How do I upgrade my ghost? I see the squares next to it like I do my bike and ship.

How come no one plays that Oris stuff? I got a mission from the Reef location and when I go to the crucible and select it the launch button is read. I figure it's like old DLC or something like that.

Thanks for the help, oh and I made it to level 29 over the weekend. I'm going to try some of the queen missions now.
