The ACC is different this year. The top two teams based on ACC winning percentage will play for the ACC Championship, so we’ll likely see a Clemson vs ND rematch. I doubt the loser makes the NCAA playoffs, but who knows. It would be crazy for Clemson and ND to play three times in one season.

Clemson offered to undergo additional testing on Saturday or Sunday, with the two teams then playing the game Sunday or Monday, but Florida State declined.

"We were willing to do whatever was necessary to play while in Tallahassee," he said. "We feel we offered additional solutions to make it work."

"We were there. We were ready. We met the standards to play," Swinney said. "In my opinion they forfeited the game. That's $300,000 that's gone out the window. ... If the standard to play was zero positive tests, we never would've had a season."

Florida State announced a 20% budget cut for athletics in August and furloughs for employees last week, with AD David Coburn telling the school's board of trustees that more cuts were likely as the department faces a massive budget deficit due to COVID-19.

Florida State was a five-touchdown underdog in the game, which many Clemson fans have pegged as the real rationale for the postponement. Swinney, for his part, wouldn't explicitly say so.

Clemson traveled with a positive player with symptoms.
Won't be surprised if Clemson has more positive cases this week. FSU has been getting blown out all year I don't think they were afraid of a Clemson blow out. What's one more blow out? Lol

But of course Dabo is going to paint the narrative that FSU was scared to play. If Clemson doesn't travel with a positive player the game is played simple. It always looks bad when the underdog decides not to play or can't play. LSU just went through it a couple of weeks ago against Bama.
