One helluva gutty 2nd half performance by the Trojans though. The team didn't quit when they had every opportunity to do so.

I don’t see what’s so great about Dan Mullins. His teams are very undisciplined every year and it cost him tonight. Well that and the fact he held out Pitts (who looked perfectly fine and wanted to play) for the SEC Championship game and now it’s not gonna matter! They couldn’t beat the Tide anyway but now it kinda takes away from the game! I normally don’t talk a lot of smack but I hate an undisciplined football team! I throw that kid who threw the shoe off the team the same exact way.

The question now is who do they go get that's better?

Clemson loses again and Bama handles Florida. I think Texas A&M should get in over Clemson. I honestly don't think Notre Dame will beat Clemson again though. As a Bama fan I want a shot at Ohio State even though I don't feel they deserve to get in. Not their fault, its their conferences fault!

that's my thinking, as well. i can't stand ohio state, but their conference screwed them. they wanted to play. hell, they even told the sec that they'd play with them just so they could have a season. but an undefeated team that's played only 5 games shouldn't get preference over a team that has 1 loss but has played more games.

Clemson lost in OT to the #4 team (at the time) without their starting QB. If they lose again tonight, of course they shouldn't be in be in, but I don't think that will happen. Does Notre Dame get in with their only loss being to Clemson? Could they end up playing each other three times?

Oregon Ducks should be considered for the playoffs.

PAC 12 champs...best uniforms in college football.
