It is darker. That is just over exposed due to my camera's flash.

Sorry, but no picture yet. My wife just called to let me know that my DVD2Blu package was on the front step this morning. It must have been delivered last night. I will take a picture and post it when I get home. I placed my order 02/22/2013. That was much faster than what I've heard from most people. I ordered 10 movies.

i think that whoever prints up the criterion covers screws up sometimes. my cpy of the game you cant even read the spine on it bc its so black and ive seen other copys in pics here and in store that show its not supposed to be like that. i tried complaining to criterion but i never got a response. but apperntly other here on this form have had luck ith gettting a replacement

Got really lucky and tracked down what may have been the last copy of Dead Alive ($23 shipped) still sitting in a B&N store. Was surprised it reached the other side of the country from AK in only like 4 days.

Wanted more concerts. I went to Fry's looking to pick up the Duran Duran concert and saw Rob Thomas was only $10, so I got that as well.

Little story to go along with this one...

I bought season 2 during release week after watching the pilot episode from the sampler disk I had. Figured it would be best to get it while still on sale.

Since then, I've been looking for season 1 for a reasonable price. I found one copy at Wal-Mart a few days ago that was mangled pretty badly. Looked like it had been spider-wrapped at one point. It was the only one there, sitting next to season 2. The tag on the shelf said season 1, and it was marked at $39.96.

I went back tonight to pick up something I forgot on my last trip and figured, what the hell, maybe they put out more. Come to find out, the mangled copy was gone, but the tag was still there. No copies. I asked an employee, he said "if it's not on the shelf, we don't have any." So, I walked away. On my way out of electronics, a little display caught my eye. My local Wal-Mart puts leftover stock from displays on an open aisle visible from electronics. Sandwiched in between DVD players and Easter themed pillows was a small display of Wal-Mart Exclusive Game of Thrones Season 2.

I figured, "why not take a look?" and pulled a couple copies to the side to reveal three pristine copies of season 1 hidden in the back.

Took it to counter to the same guy that told me they had none. He says "cool, you found it." He rings it up - $59.96. I point out the tag, he says it must be a "different version". Needless to say, he studied the tag for about three minutes, called a manager, and the manager said it must have been a "sale price" that had expired and they had forgotten to remove the tag. She rang it up at $39.96 and pulled the tag from the shelf immediately.
