Finally got R.I.P.D. after a lengthy delay in transit.

Just finished Croods New Age. As mentioned in it's own thread, a joy to watch from beginning to end.

Wonderful storyline filled with humor. Crisp sharp picture with excellent color and perfect 3D. Don't hesitate adding this one to your collection!

Is there a slipcover? I've been looking for one for ages and have not found one.

None that I know of, it's just that I was spoiled to the later releases that had var, except, of course, Infinity War and Endgame.

Got Haunting in Salem, Katy Perry *sigh*, Goosebumps, and 4k Early Man. Most psyched about the last one. Havent seen Pirates and Band of Misfits yet but would love to see more of the Aardman movies in 3D. Too bad they dont exist...

One of the hardest ones to find in my 3D collection, love my slips.

Just for you, received Secret Life of Pets from rarewaves. It was $5 free freight and came with a great LENTICULAR SLIP. Also received Wizard of Oz with lenticular slip today.

For a laugh, I bought a supposed 3D Blu of an adult title: Milf's From the Third Dimension (yes, it even has the erroneous apostrophe!).

As it turns out, it's a total ripoff. The image is side-by-side and it suggests the audience 'adjust your 3D TV settings' to make it 3D! In other words, it's absolutely useless on a projector!

I didn't know such things existed, but I want my $4 back. Totally worthless!

No, I'm not that mad. I bought it for a laugh, knowing it would be rubbish; something about the idea of 3D porn amuses me more than it should; particularly because most adult 3D blus are nigh impossible to find... In this case, I just didn't know how rubbish it was going to end up being! While Jailhouse Heat & This Ain't Ghostbusters XXX didn't do much with their 3D format at least those discs actually worked with my glasses!

On the brighter side, I just got in a copy of the Japanese why-is-this-so-elaborately-packed suitcase edition of Spider-Man: Far From Home, so adding another Marvel title to my 3D collection should make up for the disappointment

English subs on both...I'm not sure if I would enjoy it if I didn't know what they were saying.

Watched Ostra Randka (Bloody Date) from Poland last night. Bought it based on a rec from here, but cant remember who. Neat little movie though it is pretty dark themed at times. 3D was well done, though at times the subtitles would be a little blurry. A good study of how moderate to strong 3D can make even the mundane, like items on a desk, more interesting. There were some pretty realistic makeup/SFX so some caution if you are a little squeamish about blood/gore. In Polish with English subs. The very first dialogue scene briefly has subs in a different language before snapping into English. Recommended for the visuals and it does have a tight little story, but rewatch value for me is probably pretty low. Cost me about $22.50 including shipping from Poland. Ordered off ebay.

First time watches of Resident Evil Afterlife and Retribution. Both had good 3D moments but I think I preferred Retribution. The action was fun to watch in 3D and some of the set pieces were really nice - the long brightly lit hallway and then the dark hallway with flashing violet lights both stood out to me. I enjoyed both more than I thought I would but this is coming from someone that hasn't seen the other movies or played the games.

Yeah I need to rewatch one and watch the other to prep for the Final Chapter, but I think Hansel and Gretel tonight. Watched Tom and Jerry on HBO Max. Popping visuals even in streaming but overall glad it was free...

Just watched RIPD for the first time.

It had it's funny moments but it really came down to Jeff Bridges stealing the show. Otherwise, it's one of those films I probably never would have watched except for the 3D. And another example how an otherwise so so movie becomes very enjoyable because of the 3D.
