wondering if someone can make up some replacement art works for some movies. these movies were imported from non English countries so what i would like is artwork for them that would look like what would be official artwork released in north America if the company who owned the rights in n/a had bothered to release them.

here is the list of movies i need artworks for.

Twins 1988 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Twins-Blu-ray/167842/
Junior 1994 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Junior-Blu-ray/67509/
The Net 1995 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-Net-Blu-ray/94197/
Just Friends 2005 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Just-F...-Blu-ray/4475/
Maximum Overdrive 1986 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Maximu...lu-ray/128484/

couple here that have us release but have better overseas versions so maybe u could just take the us version but edit the specs to the overseas specs

Coming to America 1988 https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Coming...Blu-ray/77472/
The Italian Job (2003) https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-It...Blu-ray/75633/

if there's any specs missing from the bluray.com listings missing that u need to fill in the back of the artwork just post back here and let me know and ill will post it.

Okay everyone, I need some advice. I am attempting to create a CBS Fox style cover for 'The Force Awakens'. I am having some trouble deciding what I want to do with the side logo. Here are the two examples of what I have come up with. The first is with the movie logo and the other is with the traditional CBS side font.

Here is the first one:

And the second one:

Please let me know which one you prefer. I am also going to attempt to create all of the Star Wars movies as CBS Fox videos, but it may take some time.

The 2 different sets of VHS covers I have their actual logos on the side, so maybe more the first one...but I thought there was a version of the 3 films that match the second one too, so go with your gut on this one.

The second one for sure. The newer style poster already makes it look a bit out of place on a retro cover, so the classic font on the side helps detract from that a bit.

Thanks for the advice. I think I will make both that way we all have the best of both worlds. I will get them posted once I finish them (hopefully with the entire series in tow).

They can be purchased for a bit over ten dollars and would seem to be easier and faster than using an Xacto knife and ruler.

(The picture is a Fiskars Surecut Titanium Paper Trimmer, but there are others available.)
Maybe it's just me, but whenever I try and use that, I usually end up with a "curved" straight line. It just doesn't seem to want to cut straight along the borders of the image when you make the pass over the page.

I've never used one; if the cut isn't completely straight, then it sounds like the cutting wheel is wobbling.

I think these are marketed for cutting printed photos, so I thought they might be a good option for custom covers.

Still might try one when I start printing covers; if it doesn't work they're still pretty inexpensive and could come in useful for cutting other stuff.

Anyone have a Hell or High Water alternate cover? Not a fan of the one they used.

Default Doctor Who - Series 9 (WIP)

So the BBC for some reason switched from chunky Vortex cases to digistack for the ninth series of Doctor Who. This was annoying me for two reasons - it doesn't match the form factor of the rest of the releases, and I generally hate cardboard packaging.

So, I decided to fix that, and grabbed myself a scan of the slipcover artwork to try and shrink it down to fit a 22mm Vortex case. I actually ended up rebuilding the front cover and spine from scratch, as the slipcover was a different aspect ratio to what I needed. The back cover had some minor rearrangement, but otherwise was a shrunk and cropped scan.

Photos below of the WIP - there's a few minor tweaks I need to make before I'm happy with calling it finished. Side-by-side comparisons with both the Series 8 set, and the original digistack.

I made the mistake of printing this on Kodak photo paper, so the inside is covered with their logo.

I like the Rob Liefeld poster better. Has more of an old school feel to it, which I like.

Somethign I'd been meaning to get around to for a long ol' time. Accidentally stumbled in to two variants for There Will Be Blood.
