It is what it is and its something that happens every year. Early talks of the Tide going after Jeff Lebby (ole miss OC). I'm personally going after Huge Freeze. Pay him more than he is making as a HC and he gets to rehab at Coach Saban's Clinic. One day one of these guys will be there when Nick decides to hang it up and could be next in line. Freeze is still trying to reestablish himself. We will see I guess. RTR!

If Saban hires Adam Gase I'm buying me a Longhorns hat and rooting for them lol. Please don't do it!

Alabama up 35-17 at the half. Smith has 215 yards along with 3 TD. while Ohio St has 191 yards. Heisman going off & setting records.

I was looking forward to this game. I thought it would have been a good game. Bama is a machine!

its not over yet. if this was a Super Bowl game with that score at half & i was rooting for the team winning i would feel pretty comfortable. college is a different in the sense a team can just have a monster TD run to take the lead or make it close. so many times we see a good or better team losing then in the 2nd half they take over & win. not saying it doesnt happen in the pros but not nearly as much as it does in college. its not good for Bama that Smith has been out since he hurt his hand in that opening drive this half.

it depends where he goes. seeing as he'll likely be drafted by a decent team i could see him being a solid QB.

I really do but I think it will have to be the right situation. He doesn’t need to get thrown to the wolves. If he can get in a system and play behind someone for a couple seasons that would be ideal. A lot of these guys lose all confidence early on and never rebound for being rushed to play. Sam Darnold comes to mind. If he doesn’t make it as a pro he already has his masters degree to fall back on. Roll Tide Roll. Deleted my earlier post too much celebrating last night.

Police said they received a call at 12:18 p.m. and found Jake Ehlinger in the 1200 block of West 22nd Street. Authorities did not specify how they found him but did say his death is not considered suspicious. He was 20.

No cause of death or other details were released.

The Longhorn Reddit is keeping a tight lid on any speculation. But the Austin Reddit has speculation of either an OD, or a suicide. Just tragic news either way.
