Cutting back might be wise even in my situation as any illness can get costly fast for either myself or for those whom I know personally.

I hope that everyone gets through this as unscathed as possible.

Vilya is certainly right when he says that a lot of folks will not be able to make ends meet as their place of work closes their doors for a very bumpy ride. Factor into that the fact that a fair amount of people live paycheck to paycheck, and maybe can do without one check by cutting and changing habits...but 3 or 4 will be brutal.

Don’t think for a minute that this thing will be over in two weeks. At this point, there are those who still are not taking it seriously, as they are going about their day in the same manner as they did previously. I am not saying to panic, but people need to make good choices and listen to what we need to do to stop the spreading.

I hope everyone is in a position to weather this storm, and I certainly hope everyone stays healthy.
Absolutely right. It won’t be over by the summer either.

The reviewer did mention the dark areas did not have the blotchy areas like most streaming video. My guess is Apple used humans to encode this title and made multiple trim passes. As to scenes/shots with the wax look, source master or encoding choice?

One of his last comments, “There is nothing like a good physical release.” Pretty much says it all.

I ordered this on 4K disc from Vudu's "disc + digital" service. This is the first time that I have ever used this option before, but seeing as Vudu's price was the same as everyone else's I decided to give them a try.

I have not watched my digital copy, but I like knowing that I have early access. My friends watched it, but only in HDX, and they were pleased with what they saw. That's not surprising as they are more easily satisfied than I am.

During my recent hiatus, I decided to redeem almost every digital code in my blu-ray collection as I was curious to see how many still worked. I now have 612 digital movies and 9 digital TV series on Vudu; this number drops to 464 on MA thanks to how many Lionsgate and Paramount movies that I redeemed.

I did this mainly to share them with my friends and so that I could access them when I visit people. I also did it as my way of saying "thanks" for them sharing their subscription streaming accounts with me.

I was surprised by how many foreign and independent films on blu-ray did not include digital codes. Many legendary classic films on blu-ray did not have them, either. I discovered that many of these titles were available digitally as an additional and separate purchase, but I won't be doing that. The only way I will "double dip" is if these titles are released on 4K disc.

Typing all of those alphanumeric codes back to back really crossed my eyes, though , but at least I got the vast majority of it done.

There are reports that the internet is really under a lot of strain right now with so many people stuck at home looking for something to watch or play. Service slowdowns and even outages have been reported with the likelihood of more service interruptions being probable. By no means the biggest concern right now, but I am glad that I am not dependent upon the internet for my entertainment.

I already have the disc since 2 weeks ago. The waxy faces are not on the physical media version. Hence my comment of “the reviewer is blind”. One can not comment saying (me paraphrasing) “looking virtually like physical media” when is no direct comparison. I have done so, and the physical media version is still miles better.

I guess by ordering this with Vudu's "disc + digital" option it allows me to stream the Robot Chicken clay animation version prior to the disc release; lucky me!

I was going to watch this early, but I think that I will just wait for the 4K disc to arrive. I can play with some other toys until then.

Don't have any pie and with everyone panicking in the stores I am not likely to find any.
