ACC not showing well in Week 1 -- #3, 10, and 14 bounced in week 1.

Could the ACC be completely out of teh Playoff picture before Labor Day?

I keep forgetting that Notre Dame still isn't ACC for Football so even that's not a respite.

Uiagalelei looked great against Notre Dame last year when Lawrence was out, but not so good last night. It's a long season though.

What a game and Notre Dame escapes disaster again.

Seminoles certainly look much better than the last couple years, but no way that game should have been close by the 4th quarter.

I remember watching Milton get hurt in the bowl game, It took a while to hear how serious it was (like Alex Smith and a few years ago the RB Lattimore at South Carolina) and would never have expected him to play again even if it's as a shadow as his preinjury seasons, but watching his mom in the stands had me blubbering too.

I was rooting hard for FSU to put the vampire down for the count early in the season so we don't have to hear about the Resurgence of ND all season yet again.

Thought on week 1...

Goes to showing just how badly the bookmakers know Notre Dame is. They were ranked top-10 in the preseason poll yet were only a 7 point favorite against an FSU team that's probably going to be around a .500 team. The oddsmakers got it about right.

Amazing performances by Tulane (narrowly losing to #2 Oklahoma) and Montana (defeating a solid Washington team).

Canes...

I think Miami has a solid team, but Alabama is just that great. They could run the table again this season.

UCF

Clemson-Georgia was fun. Felt like an old school SEC slugfest.

Alabama plays Mercer this week. Can't even find a spread on that one. Any guesses? I'll go with 52.5 points.

The way the targeting rule is officiated really needs to be reevaluated. There is a big difference between bang bang plays and malicious plays.

Pac 12 could have two top 5 wins today, if Colorado holds on against the Aggies.
