UH Warriors football team has canceled their Hawaii Bowl game against the University of Memphis this Friday. This is due to Covid among some of their players and staff.

I have no idea how the spread was 13.5. I went in big on Bama, giving the points. Easiest free money I made all year. Must have been betters going with their heart in underdog Cincinnati, because that spread should have been 18-20 easy.

Still don't understand how it's so hard to get an 8 team playoff organized. A full month between conference title game and semi-final is ridiculous. They easily could have played quarterfinals, semi-finals, final between early December and early-mid January.

8-team playoff:

Automatic bids to power-5 conference champions:
SEC - Alabama
Big Ten - Michigan
Big-12 - Baylor
Pac-12 - Utah
ACC - Pittsburgh

Three at-large bids:
One spot for highest ranked non-power 5 team - Cincinnati
Georgia
Notre Dame

Seeding:
1. Alabama
2. Michigan
3. Georgia
4. Cincinnati
5. Notre Dame
6. Baylor
7. Utah
8. Pittsburgh

Quarterfinal matchups:
1. Alabama vs. 8. Pittsburgh
2. Michigan vs. 7. Utah
3. Georgia vs. 6. Baylor
4. Cincinnati vs. 5. Notre Dame

I feel like 8 teams is the ideal. Guarantees all power conference champions get a shot, one at-large reserved the the top-ranked non-power team, two other at-large spots. There wouldn't be much controversy in most years since essentially any major conference 1-loss team would at least get an at-large spot.

Is it just me, or is anyone else surprised the title game has Georgia a 2.5 point favorite? Alabama was hands down the better team in the SEC title game against Georgia, winning by 17, and I don't think anything has changed since then. Surprised Bama isn't favored by a FG or so. Debating putting money down on Bama to win outright.

I think the thought is it's hard to beat a team twice. That would be my only reason I would take UGA right now. Should be a great game tho.

As an Iowa fan, it sucked losing to Kentucky in the Citrus Bowl, but it was a good game. Iowa needs a new QB

I think its hard to beat the same team twice. However, I don't think Bama put alot of prep into Cincy. I think UGA is about to get their ass handed to them!
