Does it actually hurt to sock someone in the face? Every time MacGyver walloped a bad guy on TV he would always act like it hurt like hell. Lee Majors used to do the same thing on The Fall Guy. It can't possibly be like punching a brick wall lol

yes, it does. like BeastCreatureTrapper said, it's bare hand against a hard skull. if you wanna save your hands, hit them in the stomach or chest. the chest is still bone, but it gives a bit and you're less prone to injuring yourself.

Yeah, very sad. I haven't been keeping up with much of the news about the tornadoes but sorry to hear what Tennessee is going through right now. Glad you are safe though.

They've been looping Frank Sinatra songs over the PA system in my transit hub for 2+ years - whoever is managing the hub is either a huge Sinatra fan or someone forgot to change the tape lol. This morning I was greeted by Love and Marriage and all I could think of was Al Bundy. Sinatra was before my time and not my cup of tea but it's still better than listening to the latest electronically-assisted drivel from the starlet of the week. Gotta say, though, listening to Sinatra belting out tunes with an orchestra in the background is a bit startling after being exposed to modern music for so long

Why do people online keep calling a VCR a "VHS Player"? It’s so annoying. Even if they were too young to grow up with one, how come their parents didn’t tell them what one is? I still have 3 working VCRs in my house, I’m sure it’s the same for other people too. How is it these people have never come in contact with a VCR before?
