yesterday i was thinking how hilarious it would be to make a video and then join facebook and twitter simply for the reactions that it would get.

the video?

take a bunch of toilet paper and stack it up nice and neat
take a whole bunch of hand sanitizer and quirt it all over the toilet paper
then...set it on fire
after it burns for a few minutes, put the fire out with bottled water

i figure it would've been good for at least a few triggers

thinking about what we were told at work, yesterday...

starting thursday, we'll be closing at 6pm (usually open until 10). we'll still have to work our normal shifts, we'll just do it without any customers for 4 hours (kind of a positive.....

). but we'll be there restocking and cleaning/disinfecting. the cleaning part i understand. but the restocking? don't know why. the overnight crew does that every night monday-friday. if we do it during the day, what the hell will they have to do? or where will they put any of the stuff that comes on the trucks that come in during those times? but even if they stop the nightly trucks and change their delivery times, what's the positive of us doing it from 6-10 versus them doing it 9pm-5am (their normal shift)? there's still no customers in the store. the stuff will still get stocked. and we still wouldn't reopen until 6am the next morning. i'm a bit confused about that one...but i don't make those decisions. it is what it is. i'll just go in and work my shift like i always do. as long as i'm getting paid for working, not my concern, really.

also, all full time workers are getting an additional 80 hours of sick/personal time added; part-timers will get 40 hours added. you can use those hours at any time, for any reason from now until the end of this year. BUT, if you don't use them, you'll get compensated for them on the last paycheck of this year. so the last paycheck would have an extra 80/40 hours added to it. which is not a bad deal, imo. i've got a week off coming up in april (was approved before any of this crap started) and i'll get another week at my anniversary date (in september). but if i get another 2 weeks, i may just take 1 an additional week off and keep the other 40 hours to be added to my final check. still undecided on that. another week off is a good thing. but an additional 80 hours added to a check is even better. decisions...decisions...

What does the future hold. Am I getting better or getting worse mentally. With this i'm worried and yet I can' t let go. I can't stop loving someone who i've always knew never wanted me. If survive this, i'll be amazed.
