How many gullable people have bought it you mean

It's pretty obvious it's a scam, more fool the people who honestly thought they were getting something thats 6 days old for under half price lol.

The people from this thread were well aware that it was likely a scam. But at the same time they had nothing to lose by ordering it.

It's not like they were complete idiots who didn't see it coming

Depends how they viewed it. They knew they would get a refund, for sure.

But I'm sure a lot have forgotten this person now has their home address, e-mail address etc.

If they hacked into someone ebay, I'm sure they'll have fun with 400 odd e-mail addresses and personal addresses.

It would worry me somewhat! Put it that way

I'm sure you are being way to paranoid, It is a lot easier to get someones email home address then going through all that hassle.

Has anyone had problems with the UK sets, with the paint chipping off the disc label? So far it looks like US sets only.

Watched Episodes II and III today. III looked absolutely fantastic . I thought II was pretty good too! First time I'd seen it. Not sure whether I like I or II more though, III is my favourite & the one I think is best out of the prequels.

Could you please stop talking about ebay and scammers and such, and get back to talking about the discs/movies themselves?

I've come to see how is the release and all i could see for 5 pages is some crazy talk about ebay, paypal and such.

Try going back to around the 10th of September when we a lot of people first got the UK discs. Lots of talk there.

Or you could always try looking for disc info on the US thread

Key word being "try"

Finally got around to watching the Blu-rays today, started with The Phantom Menace and got up to Revenge of the Sith. Currently watching Episodes I-III archives. The audio quality on all three has been fantastic, and the video quality has gradually grown from good to spectacular. As for the films themselves, I don't mind The Phantom Menace as much as I used to hate it, probably because I went in with hate. Still dislike but getting better :L. Never thought Attack of the Clones was that bad, enjoyed it even more on Blu-ray. As for Revenge of the Sith, I don't know if it was watching the trilogy back to back or watching them in HD, but I was completely immersed in this. Hopefully the originals shall not disappoint. If the quality is fantastic I might forgive the 'No...NOOOOO' and the stupid Obi-Wan shout.

The first star wars films I saw in the cinema were the PT. I love TPM at the time as well as the others. When I eventually got them on DVD I was a few years older and more into m tens and I lost intrest in TPM and found it to be really like a childrens film.

I've not watched any of the films since I first went HD in 2007. So finally getting them on BD last week and seeing them again I was really pleasently surprised how much I enjoyed TPM. And the other two PT films were even better than I remembered.

As for the OT. I actually grew up with them on VHS starting when I was 6 or 7 back in either '94/'95 and I remember them before they were cut up and used as tests for the TPM

The changes in the '97 SE I thought were great as a kid, and have never really bothered me.

The one change to the BD's that I really cringed at was the new "No!" line in Jedi. But seeing it in context of the whole movie, especially the scenes imediatly leading upto the line, it actually works really well

Now I might be in the minority, but a lot of the hate was built up based on a really short youtube clip of the line, but when it's watched with all the emotion built up over the entire film and the scenes leading up to it, it really feels right.
