Figured some of you, who don't want to pay tons for the blu-ray Iron Man Steelbook, might like the DVD Steelbook as an option. Currently EUR 12,86 on Amazon.it.

I ordered from dvd.co.uk a few weeks ago. I don't know if their parent company is the same as base.com. The layout looks the same and BaseCH is a seller on both sites.

Anyway, the steels came in a bubble mailer but they were mint. They are not protected as good as Amazon or Zavvi

i mis typed that final price, it was actually $10.75 USD, not 11.75. and i will definitely post once i get it in. base.com actually takes VAT off like AMZ, whereas basech does not remove VAT.

Base.com use loose fitting jiffy bags so the steelbook can slide around quite easily. Likely to get dented

This is how my Heat steelbook arrived a few months ago

however I've been told they no longer use the cardboard wrap

They ship from Hong Kong and it takes 4-10 days

Dang, too bad FutureShop doesn't ship to the U.S.

That Hunger Games Steel, while not as nice as the Mocking Jay Steelbook, is still really sweet.
