Geography is officially meaningless as far as conferences go these days. Going to be so bizarre seeing Penn St. or Ohio St. play in conference games against Washington or Oregon.

As an Iowa fan I am not for Pac 12 teams coming to the Big 10. Look at how far these teams will have to travel, it's like a 3 hour flight from Iowa to LA. I guess the Big 10 vs the Pac 12 is history in regards to the Rose Bowl. A big F-You to the sports networks like Fox, ESPN, CBS, ABC for ruining college football with your greed.

I’m curious of what happens to the final 4. I kind of see Oregon St. and Washington St. joining the Mountain West at some point and Cal and Stanford going independent.

In any case, I eagerly anticipate the ESPN: 30 for 30 on the fall of the PAC 12. The whole thing should be a mini series. The past 24 hrs by itself was insane.

I don't think it's a huge deal for football. I mean, what do you play, like 4 in conference road games in a college football season? Not a huge burden.

That being said, it seems like a bigger burden for other sports, where teams play far more games. An example would be basketball, where there are about 20 in conference games each year, or baseball where there are over 40 in conference games each year.

I think Cal and Stanford probably end up in the Big Ten (most likely scenario) or go independent. Oregon State and Washington State probably to the Mountain West.

Do you know how hard it is for teams like Indiana, Northwestern, Maryland to win the Big in football with the amount of teams they currently have? Now they added the 4 best teams from the Pac 12 to it. If my Hawkeyes want to win the BIG, they better do it this year.

When Lloyd Lake and Michael Michaels, two wannabe sports agents at the time, gave gifts to Reggie Bush to leave USC and go pro to the NFL, and Paul Dee and the corrupt NCAA hit USC with LOIC Draconian sanctions (30 lost scholarships and no bowl games over 3 years), the rest of the Pac-10 (at the time) said, "Hell yeah!"

F*ck those 9 schools, which those 4 were part of, and f*ck the NCAA. I hope that they all eventually rot.

It definitely didn’t get easier, but be thankful you’re in a good conference from a financial perspective. Those checks from FOX and NBC will help to numb the pain.

Those of us stuck in the ACC wish we had that problem.
