Now where were you during that time? But will you really part with it as it is becoming a collectors' item? Pretty sure it will get snagged at that price. Look at your competition:

Hi president,

It was less than two years ago when I got that edition and paid what I recall was in the ten to 12 dollar range for a used copy.

I do not know if it was out of print at the time. It's amazing how the price has gone up so quickly.

Hopefully they will do a 2nd set of this with Kubo, Missing Link and a new one.

Yes, just 1 disc for each. Also, Coraline disc does not have 3D logo on the label of the disc but I previewed it and it has 3D/2D versions in it.

The person who sold to you must be feeling terrible by now. Losers weepers. Congrats Joe D for a great find!

Some jawdropping prices. I have a bug out bag where I have cash, passports, birth certificates, titles, etc..., to take in case of a fire, disaster or whatnot. Guess I'll have to throw in my copy of SpyKids3/Shark Boy_Lava Girl, too.

Beauty and The Beast guys! Love the slipcover on this one. I try to avoid the picture frame slipcover style from Disney when I can.

I suggest you put your passport inside the Spy/Shark case to save space on your bug out bag. That way you have 2 valuable things in one nifty place.

So after the magic of Sharkboy and Lavagirl, popped in German import Starship Rising. Popped it out after 10 minutes. Gawdawful movie. 3D non existent. Some decent 2d CGI ruined by story that made no sense, poor acting, and GRATUITOUS cursing even the c-word. I curse, I love cursing, but this was ridiculous. Please promise me you will never buy this for any reason. Friends dont let friends...

Then popped in Haunting at Winchester House. Good 3D depth and layering, no popouts I remember.
[Show spoiler]Twist was pretty obvious early on. Guess they shouldnt advertise on the case comparing it to Sixth Sense.
I guess Im happy I saw it. Decent pick up for a cheap price, but more for 3D horror completists.

I am hoping to watch a "good" movie tonight like 3D Brown Bunny which arrived today via Amazon Lichtenstein...

Just watched journey to space. Some of the best 3D you would ever want to see though a small portion is the picture in picture format noted in the review which is really just one picture in front of another. Very informative.

Watched Gemini Man. Don't understand all the hate. The movie and the 3D are both good and the Atmos mix exceptional. Oh I forgot full screen!

Nice slipcover, it's cool that you've been picking up international releases! Wow, random fact, never knew this was rated 16 in Russia. Many countries rating this PG/12/13, some countries rating it as low as 6 and 8. "Ah sorry, it looks like you're 15 years old, kids half your age in other countries are watching this, but you can't." Strange!

Actually, back a few years there were tons of copies available for $10. That's when I got mine and they couldn't give them away back then.

I even recall second guessing myself as I'm not a big fan of the series, whether it was worth $10.00.

I think the real origin of the hate can be traced all the way back in I, Robot when Will Smith, without any apparent warning, mooned us spectators.

Hate is a strong word. I liked the premise, much of the early action, and the 3D. I think despite capable actors and decent director that the story petered out and the resolution was pretty meh. The FX used for Will Smith were pretty audacious for the time, but just unrealistic enough to pull you out of it a bit. For me this movie just didnt stick the landing.
