I.R. players will be back on the rosters. Wonder if I will get my suspended idiot star safety back, Tanard Jackson.

This may be the last Madden update for a long time since the next season is in doubt with the players and owners far from coming up with a new agreement. And if it is, I hope Tiburon cleans house and comes out with a game that is geared toward those playing sound football and not exploiting the numerous A.I. issues that the game ships with year in and year out.

Haven't seen you in a while!

I already know that you play sim from our last franchise together (Pill's in 2010), so I'll go ahead and give you the Vikings. Right now we're filling up pretty quick but in case I do need you to switch, I'll let you know. Thanks a lot.

i've been looking to join a franchise for a while and was wondering how strict will this one be? i'm all for sim but some people take "sim" too far to the point where i'm not allowed to move any defenders pre-snap etc.. would be nice if you can clarify a bit. what settings will be used ? all-pro? minutes per quarter? would be AWESOME if i can get the giants if not already taken.

It depends really on what Defenders you want to move. You can move anyone as long as they're not blitzing (to prevent nanos) and they're not a Defensive Linemen (to prevent nanos ; you can't take them off the line or control them going into coverage).

The only time you can control a player that is going to be blitzing is if you don't move them pre-snap. Our rules aren't that strict, really. They're pretty basic and easy to follow, but if you're someone that grew up on Madden around the cheese/non-sim styles then Cruz's league would be better.

If you're still interested in joining us, though, our setting is set on All-Pro, 8 MIN QTR, and injuries will probably be off. (not sure yet on injury setting) The Giants actually are taken, though.

Hi. I got referred to the league via a post in the EA forums. I use the PSN handle Ddt928. I requested the Bills. I figure a fantasy draft should make them competitive. Is there a thread discussing the rules of the league? I consider myself a sim player but I want to be sure I understand all the rules.
