So someone tried to make a £15k bet that Radiohead are doing the new song, surely someone wouldn't just place a random bet like that unless they knew something.

He's in better shape than I am. And I'm obviously exaggerating with the grandmother comment. He looks older than 46, or 47, or however old he is.

He looks like he's in tremendously good shape for 55. Keep in mind I love him as Bond and CR and SF both rank in my Top 10, so obviously this has nothing to do with me being one of those "DanielCraigIsNotBond" morons.

I've seen Depeche Mode suggested before and I think they'd be a much cooler and more interesting choice to do the theme song than Radiohead.

Fair enough dude, I don't think he looks 55 but these perceptions can be relative to those making them so it's all a matter of opinion I guess. If they don't hang about after this one he's got one more then time for a recast.

Depeche Mode would have been a great choice for Timothy Dalton's third movie back in 1991. In 2015? Not so much.

Why not? They're still good, still successful and their sound has changed a lot over the years. It's not like they're one of those "stuck in the past" bands that end up becoming shells of their former selves, rehashing their old stuff (poorly) in a desperate attempt to try and recapture their former glory.

If you simply feel they are "too old", well, not like it'd be the first time. Tina Turner for example was around the same age they are now when she did GoldenEye.

Craig is 55? Frig me, he's in remarkable shape if he's that old. His face wasn't always the youngest-looking, probably because he loves his cigs and his drink by all accounts, but overall he's put Moore to shame. Roger Moore in A View T'Kill looked like a proper grand-dad.

Would love to see Bowie do the theme song, but the chances of that are nil. He likely has some new music coming out soon though with his new Broadway play "Lazarus", so there is of course a small possibility...

He's 47; the Bond franchise is older than him.
