Nope and never came close to being broke. Only "cheat" I did was with the premium cigarette cards. I knew I would never find them all. Not even sure its a cheat. More of a trick.

No this game is actually the first one and the first one is actually the second game.

Getting it for free with the pro bundle is the only time I've ever gotten a deal on a new rockstar game but its understandable.

Just about to complete Epilogue 2 and the main story in RDR2. But yeah, the glitches definitely haunt an otherwise solid action/adventure open world western. There are way too many missions that instantly bring up the Failed screen before I even have a literal second to react. It's kind of a broken game from my experience, but thankfully doesn't repeat that on the 2nd try. Frustrating and I can't believe there isn't a patch for it yet, among the other glitches I found. This wasn't the case with GTAV, IV, 3, RDR1, etc.

No. Though I'm interested, why do you regret it? Did it remove certain trophies or rewards?

As others have said, I made over $4500 through the game itself, and ended the story to that point with that much, with hardly any need to spend it.

That's true, RDR2 is actually the prequel to the first game, which is the sequel. But it works even so.

I'm curious to know what missions or types of missions these were. I'm almost through chapter 6 and never experienced that. Every mission (yellow icon/white icon/?/strangers) has started and ended without issue. I'm using an original PS4 for reference.

Wondering if it has anything to do with the hardware or perhaps the style of play?

Never had any of the glitches you typically talk about with missions or them ending.

The beard is still broken for me in 2nd playthrough though with not being able to max it. No amount of tonics and sleep will work. I reported it to rockstar and they said it's a file corruption for some. So I'm playing as Daniel Plainview from there will be blood. Hopefully the patch addresses it but not holding my breath.

Original PS4 November 2013 model. No updates to RDR2 added, just playing the game from the disc version.
Here's an example, I was on a follow the character type of mission, and it said follow a character, and before I even had a chance to start walking, the Failed, You abandoned the character message appears and I have to restart. I'm left with the reaction of, "What the hell? At least give me a chance to react." It's some weird kind of mission glitch I'm experiencing often enough to take note of, but thankfully not every mission. And always on the 2nd try, it works fine. Unfortunately, I'm nearly finished with the game's story missions, but if I spot it again in side missions, I'll try to save the video footage.

That's strange they don't allow the beard to grow more.
But I wonder if certain issues appear depending on different choices throughout the game.

REST Mode Glitch:
When I pause the game during some missions, or go to the menu screens, and then put RDR2 into rest mode and return later, I experience a game breaking glitch sometimes that disables the controls, so I try to walk, and the player barely moves. Even the camera won't turn, and the buttons don't respond during gameplay. So I press the PS4 menu button and my controller responds as normal there, but then when I return to the game, it's unresponsive again, forcing me to close the game and then restart it, and then it works fine.

But yeah, I hope Rockstar is working on a patch for RDR2 to improve it.

The game visually, is a work of art in my opinion as far as the wilderness and open world exploration of it.

Thanks. I think it should be ironed out in a patch soon. And hopefully the issue with the beard as well, among other things.

I know that they said rdr2 online launches by end of November,but there are only 6 1/2 days left in the month. If it doesn't come out by Friday which is November 30,they lied.
