No one cares about a mythical national championship. It's unfortunate as a fan the players took that approach to the game but I get it. I wish they would have played and showed why they belong in the playoffs. On the other hand, why risk serious injury for a meaningless game and jeopardize NFL millions?

Hey now, if you only took that game seriously you could be recognized as national champions by some obscure algorithm based poll nobody ever heard of, like UCF in 2017!

Maybe one of the 4 best teams in the nation, but not sure how you could look at their resume and justify putting them in over Michigan, Washington, Alabama, or Texas. Texas had by some measures the #1 overall SOS in the nation, blew out Alabama in Tuscaloosa, and their one loss was very narrow. Georgia had a somewhat weak SOS (40 something in the nation) and lost their final game, even if it was narrowly.

Second year in a row both semifinals were excellent.

So it's Michigan (-4.5) vs. Washington in the battle of the undefeated for the title.

I was shocked tonight on how good and accurate the Huskies QB was. Their receivers are top notch too.

That said, I think that Michigan will man handle Washington enough to win next week.

Georgia should have been in the Final 4.

Texas was only going to win tonight by dumb luck. Too many penalties.

Michael Penix Jr. should've won the Heisman Trophy IMO.

The problem is that the West vote was split between him and Bo Nix, leaving Jayden Daniels to capture all of the South vote and win.
