ESPN keeps calling the Georgia vs Alabama game the "Game of the Century." How is this the game of the century when neither team is even ranked #1 and one team is ranked 4th?

When Bama went up by 3 td's, I turned it off and watched a movie. I just turned it on and now its 33-28 in favor of Bama.

Definitely looking like Bama hiring Kalen DeBoer was the right move. Everywhere he's coached, he turned his teams into winners. A 67-3 record and 3 NAIA national titles at Sioux Falls, turned around Fresno State, took Washington to a national title game within 2 years, now Alabama doesn't look like they've lost a beat without Saban.

Not sure what's up with Dabo Swinney/Clemson. Back around 2018/19, he was on par with Nick Saban among the best coaches in college football. Two national titles, 4 national title game appearances, a 2-1 record vs. Alabama in 2016-2019, finished top-5 ranked every year between 2015-2020, some outstanding recruiting classes. But man, they're REALLY fallen off, becoming a team that now loses 3-4 games per season the past 4 or 5 years, and recruiting classes than have seriously fallen off from where they once were. Clemson's QB's in particular have not panned out well post-Trevor Lawrence.

I was just watching a local sports show on tv. One of the host is a former All Big 10 football player. He said players getting paid now has soured college football. He said the game used to be about being a student athlete, now it's just about how much money am I going to get and being an athlete.
