A judge granted preliminary approval Monday to the $2.78 billion legal settlement that would transform college sports by allowing schools to pay players.

U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken released an order setting a timeline for a deal that would put millions of dollars into the pockets of college athletes, who can begin applying for payment on Oct. 18.

Like shocker when you give children millions of dollars to play a game not even at a pro level!

Wait till these court cases and lawsuits degrade the actual institutions having to deal with them and seeing services and features taken away from your standard everyday student who pays an arm and a leg to attend these places for the damn football team athletes! Clearly the NCAA and colleges did a piss poor job in creating NIL.

Simple way to fix it is to get rid of it, athletes who want to get paid can go pro, or they can follow the rules and attend college for a free degree.

The refs screwed Oregon on the first drive of the game. The Duck defender got the INT and the refs missed it. OSU never should have had that TD from that drive.

The refs totally hosed Nebraska in their game vs Ohio St. Not one holding call was made against OSU, and there multiple evidence of holding by the Buckeyes throughout the game.
