wondering when all this bullshit is gonna be over. my sister wants us (just me and her) to take a trip down to universal studios theme park. i've never been (she's been a couple times) and would like to go. but neither she, nor i, want to go until things are back to normal.

it's been a while since we've done anything and it's been just the 2 of us. usually, there's the rest of the family (10+ more) there, as well. nothing wrong with that, i love my family; but me and my sister are very close and enjoy doing things when it's just the 2 of us.

I hear ya. I've been wanting to go back down to Universal Studios and Disneyland again, but won't be able to for a while now until this crap is over with and there's no restrictions. Luckily my brother and I were able to go to Disneyland in January of this year before everything started. Last time I was at Universal Studios was when we went in October of 2018.

Hopefully things get back to normal before the end of the year. I wanna get out more.

The vaccines in the pipeline for very late fall/early winter 2020 would be absolute game changers.

I want to go back to the movies, or heck just any restaurant without a drive-thru because food gets cold by the time I get back home.

Disneyland is going to be an interesting case study because of the international visitors. Las Vegas and NYC may also run into this. Even though we're shutting off flights from hotspots (Brazil is the new one shut off), its still going to be problematic.

Wondering why the Tylenol my bestie has been taking the last few days seems to be causing her stomach pain, bloating, gas, and diarrhea? Supposedly, Tylenol is supposed to be very easy on the tums.

Then again, she about killed her innards a couple weeks ago regularly ingesting aspirin on an empty stomach (with very little water and often just before lying down to sleep). She's following this same routine on the Tylenol. Maybe because her tummy was already badly irritated by the aspirin, the switchover to Tylenol isn't helping matters? I dunno, I'm so confused.

My brother is nearly 7 years older than me and I am 9 years older than my sister. That gap made it so we didn’t really have as much in common. Now that we are older and have different things going on in our lives we don’t get to see each other that much. And when we do, it’s usually a holiday or an event where the whole family gets together. Even then, not everyone can make it.

But one thing we all enjoy is Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. For the past few years I have taken it upon myself to get the 3 of us together and go. No significant others. No Kids. No parents. Just the 3 siblings. It is great.

Being the middle child, I feel like I am somewhat close to both of my siblings. But there is a 15 year gap between my brother and sister. I like being able to get them together, because I can tell they don’t have that same bond with each other. Halloween Horror Nights is one of the things I look forward to every year.

If you and your sister are able to make it down to Universal, I say go for it!

me and my sister are only 2 years apart. hell, not even that, really...just under 23 months (late february to early december the following year)

and we'll make it. just gotta wait for the craziness to settle down and stuff to get back to normal.

Yeah, it's going to be interesting for sure. Disney World is already discussing opening procedures, but I haven't heard anything about Disneyland yet. I'd imagine it's going to be on a restricted basis for quite some time when they finally do open. I do wonder how it will work for international visitors. Time will tell, I guess.

my etsy order has finally left sinapore and now I'm wondering if its smooth sailing. I mean the USPS is almost dead and has problems but the carrier is DHL which sometimes gives the item to USPS so I don't know. I'm happy and worried about it all at the same time.

Bought a blu-ray off eBay last week and it had an estimated delivery for Wednesday (two days ago). As of right now its arrived at a USPS facility in my State back on Monday, but tracking hasn't updated since. Simply wondering when it'll actually arrive.

(This is rhetorical by the way, as I've had this happen plenty before and understand sometimes mail is slow)

UPDATE: It's finally open after hours. It seems like some person was banned for quoting an entire message written by Criterion Collection on the George Floyd Protests and that it was too long to quote and pointless to scroll down an entire page worth of duplicates of the same letter.

I've been hearing about aspirin and how it may help prevent heart attacks so I got myself a bottle of low-dose Bayer but I didn't realize I purchased a chewable version. I don't know if this will have any positive effect if I suck on the tablet and the product stays in or around my mouth. Isn't it supposed to be, like, inside my digestive system? The pill is so small that I doubt it'll actually have any kind of benefit lol.

it shouldn't matter, as long as it gets into your system. just make sure you consult with your doctor before starting a regimen of anything, including aspirin. some people (like me) are allergic to aspirin (and all other nsaid pain relievers). but they won't know it until they start taking daily doses or more than what they'd normally take for pains/headaches.
