My haul from Japan:

https://imgur.com/a/cOWLBwO

All were used but cases and discs look flawless. None of these movies are expected to be English friendly except for Biohazard. The disc in the lower right is Kamen Riders and it is different from the 3D one listed in the database - instead it is a 3D version of this one
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Kamen...Blu-ray/67801/

I know nothing about the Kamen Riders. Had trouble finding any 3D reviews but it sounds like some fans regard the movie well from a quick internet search. I was looking for the other ones and decided to take a chance.

The Ayumi Hamasaki tour and Kamen Riders both came with lenticulars. The cover for Kamen Riders has a lenticular down the side and back of the cover as well, the first time I've seen one like it.

First time using Zenmarket to help with ordering and exporting the movies, which were all individually bubble wrapped and packed with care. Their fees seem very reasonable to me and I'm already working on another order for some animes.

So just watched Planes Fire and Rescue with the kids except girl child protested and left because she wanted to watch FF Rise of the Silver Surfer. *sigh* Whelp, she missed a pretty darn good 3D extravaganza. Great depth, layering, and detail. Lots of swooping, flybys, and fly throughs in very nicely laid out backgrounds. Well done 3D even through the scrolling end credits. Story was fairly vanilla but enjoyable if you like the Cars and Planes universe.

Dont know if later I am going 3D, 4K, or Kung Fu Blu as I just got a bunch of remastered Jackie Chan's from 88films. First world problems....

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hi Arcam,

Well I just watched it tonight and it is indeed excellent science fiction.

I did watch it simulated 3D and surprised with the depth I did get since so much of the film was in small enclosed areas. Again, not stereoscopic but a nice substitute.

I read so many reviewers saying the 3D was almost non existent with virtually no difference from that of the flat version. I cannot say it was like that with my own simulation. Although I am not going to invest in it, I would be more than curious to compare the German Auto conversion to my own simulated effort.

Hi Arcam

Wasn't going to waste any more money on one of those rip off auto conversion Blu-ray discs. Even out of curiosity. I have Dune and since only wanted genuine 3D for my collection.

Default Croods: A New Age

Watched the second Croods. Certainly not as good as the first imo, but good 3d, vibrant colors and over-the-top action/adventure helped it to be pretty enjoyable.

If they ever offer it at a reasonable price, I’ll pick it up.

Hi philsfan

I would be leery of any 3D title only coming out of Germany. I. always check the web first to find any information about 3D background. If there are no references to the film or disc being released in 3D other than in Germany, I skip it. Like was Europa Report, I probably did a better job with my own simulation.

It wasnt on 13thman's autoconvert list so thought I would give it a go. FYI it also came out on Amazon.VC (Vatican City). I usually dont use that site as they charge 10% extra per year for the rest of your life. *sigh*

Hi philsfan,

Out of curiosity, could you play it in 2D and see if your simulation is better than the autoconversion on the disk?

Watched WW84 this weekend. Enjoyed it better than the flat version but it's still a terrible movie. I feel like scenes could have done a little more 3D, especially in the mall and highway sequences but overall good depth, especially in the opening scene. Probably will never watch it again but do not regret the purchase.
