Only insecure children care about being viewed as adults. Real adults grow out of that by the age of 18 or so.

I should clarify, watching football isn't a bad thing. Football is fun.

Yeah, I'm getting nerdier too! My fiancé is happy with that since we're both nerdy. I just hate the idea that if you're an "adult" you can't enjoy things. All you're allowed to do is work and hate your relationship, lol!

i like to keep my wife on her toes.

here's a snapshot of benny:

loves watching football and baseball
coaches our son's baseball team and daughters softball team
works as a taxidermist
loves to hunt and fish
rides a motorcycle
has a beard and tattoos
reads comics.....didn't start until about 5 years ago.....i'm almost 33
loves star wars, harry potter, and lord of the rings and movies in general
basement HT is decorated w/movie posters and lightsabers
plays video games way later than he should on a nightly basis

and i'm so pumped for this movie......i'll be in line @ 5:15 for our 7:00 showing on thursday night.

Sadly I have to wait until Saturday to watch it...so I'll have to avoid the internet until then...gonna be hard...

I've got tickets for Thursday AND Saturday. One for the 7PM IMAX showing so I can see the very first screening when it opens(as I did for all 3 prequels) and then one for a Saturday evening showing with a bunch of friends.

I hope it's good, cuz I'd hate to be stuck with a ticket for a mediocre flick. That's what happened with Phantom Menace. I went to the midnight showing and was underwhelmed to say the least and then caught it with some buddies of mine the next night since I'd already prepurchased an extra ticket.

Star Wars is "adult" sci-fi? I mean yeah, it has dealt with adult themes and issues from time to time, but it's not meant for adults primarily. The only reason TFA may seem that way is cuz it's playing off adults' nostalgia for the originals they saw when they were... kids.

Well, I cannot believe how my enthusiasm and excitement I felt for this movie just left me.

I read one of the SPOILER tags in someone's post and POOF!

Ruined the whole movie. I don't understand why someone would want to ruin it for those who did not get to go last night.

I wish he could have waited till Thursday to post something that was very obvious but still a spoiler none the less.

Will I still see the movie? Of course I will. Maybe I just need some coffee?

ooh that's nice. There was a version of that available when I bought the TFA one, had just the title of the movies in the style of the opening crawl, in yellow, but none of the other art around it.

I've got another t-shirt that's got a bunch of OT characters in a grid pattern around a half-Alliance, half-Empire logo. Will probably wear that on Friday, so my cousin doesn't have to suffer sitting next to me while I wear the same damn t-shirt from the night before
