I'm losing so many points because of how long the bastard game takes to let me leave a match. Anyone wanna jump into this and help me do this? I'm down to less than 250 again now because I'm having so much bad luck. If I had two or three people to kill over and over I'd finish this in like two matches.

The first day I played Crucible for the first time (this past February?), I finished the Thorn bounty in an hour or so. It's really not that hard...

It's insane how much stuff has been dropping in Iron Banner for me. Went from just one legendary scout rifle, to now having my vault filled with every single kind of legendary gun.

Should I still try re-rolling my guns, or is TTK going to make all this stuff obsolete at launch? After I get the last bit of gear from this iron banner, I'm back to just playing for fun. So if I don't need to actually upgrade stuff, I won't.

I wouldn't waste your time re-rolling as bigger and better weapons will be coming, thus making Year 1 items and weapons obsolete.

I mean I guess you could re-roll as regular Crucible is not dictated by level nor attack damage, but again, I would wait (according to the Twitch stream, you can still re-roll Year 1 weapons).

Just gotta say, that Hunters Cloak from Rank 4 IB is incredible. Well worth it just for something cosmetic! I have MUCH better gear now, so if you guys ever want to run crota, or VoG again, I'll actually be able to help!

Newbie question: Is there really any reason I should buy Felwinter's Lie now? I already have Party Crasher, which might also be irrelevant because I thought I read somewhere shotguns were getting nerfed in 2.0. Not to mention there will be better weapons anyway. I came in late so I'm not trying to amass a collection or anything. I think I'd rather just save my glimmer for new stuff in TTK.

I would. It is a great shotty and should still scale well in regular crucible.

it's a pretty awesome shotgun......esp. if you can get shot package and luck in the chamber.

Speaking of the Nightfall, I just played through it on my own in order to complete the Shattered Memory Fragment for Pocket Infinity.

I used to have the weapon, but I ended up dismantling it. Now, with The Taken King's Exotic Blueprints right around the corner, I sought to retain it and reacquire the weapon.

For those who do not know, this week's Nightfall has Void Burn, Angry, and Juggler on. Armed with a Vex Mythoclast, Felwinter's Lie (void), and Radagast's Fury (solar), I was able to get to the Omnigul fight spawn without wiping once or using any weapon packs.

Utilizing my Hunter's invisibility, I would run up to the Captains wielding swords and cannons and shotgun them, retreat, and repeat again. Lastly, I would clean up the little fellas with my Vex.

I was honestly really surprised that I got to Omnigul's lair, especially considering the Skiff part can be quite tricky. I ended up dying in the boss's room as I got stuck in a pack of Thrall and could not jump up to the platform for cover, but I am still pretty stoked that I did what I did.

One giant step for Bungie's mechanisms, one giant leap for me.

Checked out my new Hawkmoon on a quest/bounty I had from the reef. yup. It's nice!

My first exotic gun too!
