I stopped in this taqueria today and I was thinking that it seemed familiar. This girl I used to work with at the post office had taken me one time so I asked about her and the person helping me at the register was her sister. I mentioned working with her and she said she'd tell her I said hi. I guess she helps at the restaurant on Mondays so I'll stop by next week. The thing is, I can't remember how we left things. I obviously haven't kept in touch with her over the last five years. I don't know if we did anything else, like a date, the day that we went there and I've been thinking about her all afternoon. I remember being kind of into her. I started to wonder if we ever messed around even a little, like kissing, but I'm pretty sure we didn't and I have a feeling, knowing me, things might not have ended on the best note...

Glad my new printer arrived and I got it set up, was able to get in a bit more gaming and Buffy streaming before bed, too.

I haven't done a lot of online shopping from Walmart.com but I've had to pick up the pace recently because Amazon is always out of stock on the stuff I need. Anyway, they shipped out something I ordered and used a company called Lasership. They claim they delivered it on Saturday but it's a lie. According to Walmart policy I have to wait 48 hours before anything can be done. They also say the package may have been scanned as delivered but that it actually may still be on the way - I think these policies are a joke. A package is either delivered or it's not. Did Walmart institute that policy because orders get lost often? Crazy.

I suppose I will have to deal with the PO today since last night my etsy order couldn't be delivered to the strangest reason of not having access. I have a box and a door to my apartment as well having stuff sit on the box so they could have left it there. if they knew or been there before. So that is annoying. Why it couldn't be delivered with the regular mail is beyond me.

Last week while out for coffee, my cousin mentioned that he was bored. I told him to drop by on Monday and give me a hand with some LED lights I was gonna install on my truck.
Yesterday he did and it was wild how he just took the project right over. I was basically the “Get The Tools Dude”. That rarely ever happens, but it was nice.
I’m usually the dude that gets it done because I’m afraid of whoever I’m working with, messing things up. Yesterday, my cousin did that to me and it was kinda funny.
The lights look great and my cousin was pleased to have a project that turned out so well.

You guys are lucky to have weekends off.
My only days off are:
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Being disabled sucks...

Why am I in so much pain? the tooth started hurting close to the end of working. Finally able to go to the dentist monday but hell I can barely move my neck and shoulder area without so much pain. massaging the areas doesn't seem to help. I hope it clears up before monday.

I had no idea you were military as well.
Thank you for your service!

That's now three of us on this website that are former military.

I am not a Vet though. I was medically discharged.

All this week and all last, I've been a day ahead. Not sure why.
But it's better than me usually feeling a day behind...

Medically discharged form the military, than you are a Vet....

All former Military are Veteran's

Myself, I had a couple of bad Parachute jumps while with the 82nd Airborne that catch-up with me over the years.
1st it caused me to have to be medically discharged from the Army ( 5 years after my bad jumps )
2nd I had to finally retire completely from work entirely becuase of it ( 6 years after leaving the Army )

And the civilian job I had at the time I had to retire was as the Security System Technician at the Bullion Depository at Ft. Knox

For me, I forgot and went to a local hardware store to buy a few things. As I was coming up to it, I saw the lot was empty. I was puzzled at first, then thought, "oh yeah, it's sunday, dummy."

Watching Gettysburg per annual tradition, I'm thinking about how there aren't very many civil war movies that are strictly anti-confederacy. Usually they show "lost cause" southerners. I can't think of too many that show the attack on Ft. Sumter or Atlanta burning. It would be like watching a WWII film that didn't mention Pearl Harbor.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. I've yet to watch Glory, Cold Mountain, or Free State of Jones.
