At least get some Ramen to go with those films. No one should be living off of Hostess snack cakes.

But we didn't see , but have read enough about it after it was removed
Here is an artist's reconstruction of the crime scene:

Mine as well, if the layout was reversed. No Blu-rays in there or the kitchen, either.

This is very strange to me. Offerings looked scrubbed to me yet Primal Scream has a healthy grain...can someone who received their copy chime in here? Is there a visible grain field on God's Bloody Acre?

In this day and age, the idea of de-graining is absurd. DNR is a good thing when done sparingly but when it's overused, it turns a film into a smooth mess.

I'll buy it, just not for $28.
Still want to hear some more reviews.

Farewell, agreed it would be odd, selective DNR usage can be helpful in a number of different scenarios.

Slasherdisc, looks like you need to check it out!

Primal Scream was a great looking disc, and that is the approach that should be used going forward.

tbh, the green lines that afflicted some Code Red DVDs were never a problem for me; i think they added to the grindhousey exploitation vibe of those titles. it's organic to the medium and i'd leave them in rather than apply DNR to whole thing

Have you ever watched Trailer Park Boys? In the earlier seasons, Corey & Trevor were a couple of characters and whenever the boys got in trouble, they would use their names as aliases. My guess is that's where it comes from.

This. I'll take green lines over a scrubbed, waxy-looking image any day.

I hope that video one FB isn't indicative of the video quality on the disc. Man, the colours are all over the place - at one point, the asphalt glows bright blue!

Another update from DF with a great price point forthcoming for The Backlot Murders!...

"MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT:
We are not going to show any more clips on here from the new release of THE BACKLOT MURDERS even from the new HD master because in no way does it depict how good this one really looks. The only way is to see the new HD Blu-ray at home for yourself. We want everyone to see it so the new release price for THE BACKLOT MURDERS will be ONLY $16.99 and it's even better with our FREE SHIPPING in the US! An unprecedented price for one our big new releases and our way of saying THANK YOU to all of our customers!"

That's a pretty competitive price. Nice work on that DF. Looking forward to reading some reviews about it.
