Watched Godzilla vs. Kong. Liked the movie better the second time and the 3D, although not great did add to the enjoyment. Still i think you should wait for a deal, if you haven't already purchased. Skull Island still my favorite.

Oh and the audio is great, lots of surround action.

Watched Iron Mask last night and wrote tiny review on that thread. It has its many flaws but excellent 3D and a plain fun movie if you put your brain in neutral. After watching it in 3D, unsure I would watch the 4k version. Highly recommended and a great addition to 3D, especially after being disappointed by Dragon Rider.

Liked what the 3D added for Kong vs Godzilla in the battle scenes. Waiting for the 15 minute Monster Cut lol...

Last week caught Sanctum for the 1st time. Thought it was good use of 3D despite some murky scenes. Bit of a downer though and I just wanted to punch Mr Fantastic in his stretchy face...

Seems that Amazon is getting more customer friendly when you order BDs from different regions (or they are tired of returns!). I ordered a couple of Region B 3D movies during Amazon Prime days and got this email:

Hi XXXXX,

Thank you for your purchase of Asterix: The Mansions Of The Gods 3D [Blu-ray] [Region B] [Blu-ray].

Before we fulfil your order, we would like to double-check that you intended to purchase a Region B Blu-Ray (fulfilled from our UK warehouse). This means it can only be played on equipment manufactured in Europe, or maybe an All Region machine (but it is not guaranteed).

We do hope you don’t mind us confirming the information; we would hate for the Blu-Ray to arrive and you be unhappy with it!

If you are okay to proceed with this order, please let us know by return email. If you are not sure, or have selected the incorrect region, please cancel your order via the Order Details page.

We look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

I replied back: Please proceed with this order. I have an all-regions player, and they replied back:

Thank you for letting us know.

We will proceed with your order and you will be notified via email once it has been dispatched.

Kind regards
Christopher

People like to badmouth Amazon, but I have never had an issue and returns are incredibly easy.

I watched the new Godzilla vs Kong last night.

I really enjoyed it! It was a great big sprawling thing, with decent 3D and a bit of heart. Good fun.

I got the last copy at my Walmart with a slip! I’m very stoked to see this again, it was super fun and I watched it twice on VOD.

Watched Nurse last night for the first time. 3D nicely done with popouts and Paz was a special effect all to herself. Not going to win any oscars but a fun genre romp.

Titanic I am still saving in 3d, and looking very forward to it. However, i did just finish the 3d Hobbits again and have a similar feeling towards those- hours of excellent 3d, story, action...

While I've heard many saying the BOTFA went downhill with just too much fighting, I thought the story-telling and drama was strong throughout. Then there's the spectacle/action that lends itself to more meaningful 3d that just keeps escalating as the trilogy concludes. Loved the 3d and the movies.

Also watched Oz The Great And Powerful. Wow, that is demo-worthy 3d and an enjoyable film to boot! Very nice and creative use of 3d and like the original- aspect and color changes.
