We were able to watch on our LG 4K set as well our old Sony HD CRT so that was no problem.
Thank you!

Just purchased Minuscule 2 - Mandibles at the end of the world. Also got my copy of Gamer.

Also just again watched The Three Musketeers.

This is an under appreciated gem. Fantastic 3D, terrific video and 5.1 soundtrack.

And great fun to watch - but it definitely has to be seen in 3D. Anything less and it's a no go.

Yes, The Three Musketeers is a great 3D movie from Paul W. S. Anderson, with same state of the art strong 3D like he did with "Resident Evil: Afterlife" and "Resident Evil: Retribution".

Joe, where did you get your copy of Minuscule 2? I have also been trying to find a copy of the first Minuscule movie.

Just watched "Gamer".

Will admit, I was surprised it became more interesting as the film progressed and I wound up enjoying it (though violence and sexual content was a bit too much for my taste). But again, know I would have lost interest if it wasn't for the very good 3D conversion.

So for me, Gamer is another example of a film I would not have bothered with except for the 3D which made it a nice addition to my 3D collection. The industry should note the vast amount of discs I and others would not have purchased had it not been for the 3D.

How did you like the use of Sammy Davis Jr’s “I’ve Got You Under My Skin”?

I like sexual content and violence, definitely do not watch Nurse or Julia X.

I started it but only got 20 minutes into it, then shut it off. I'll have to try again.

I don't remember but I thought there was a thread regarding how many titles you wouldn't own but for 3D. For me I think its close to 75%... About 300 titles.

Hi hasslein

The thread is for how many 3D titles one owns. I hate just think of how much money I would have saved if it wasn't about 3D. LOL

Last night we watched 47 Ronin, a film I didn't even know existed until I went searching for live action PG-13 (I don't get off on gore).

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I love all things dino and all things Japan so this was a real treat.

I was impressed with Keanu Reeves and the authenticity of the other actors, particularly Hiroyuki Sanada. He gave an amazing performance.

Depth was good, there were a few pop out moments that made me jump.
But what sealed the deal for me is the story. I would watch this one in 2D that's how much I loved it. It was a bit slow to get going but once it did I was hooked.

Unlike the movie Jack The Giant Slayer, I truly cared about these characters. I was rooting for them, cheering them on. I even shed a few tears.

The entire two hours I was riveted to the screen - no bathroom break, no snacks.

For me. a good movie is one I think about long after viewing and this one is still on my mind today.

Besides great movie and great 3D the costumes are spectacular.
