This just in! Some people on the road are stupid! Found that out this morning as two massive trucks tried to pass each other on a dinky bridge in a dinky town. Why do massive 18-wheel trucks pass through these tiny country backroads anyway?!

And of course everybody tailgates!!

Well, I'm over it now.

Got 30 minutes before I can cruise home, dodging the trucks on the way. Heck, with the sun out for a change I might be able to roll my windows down and feel some fresh air.

Then I can watch "Dances With Wolves." It's a blind-buy, so I hope it's good.

If you like epics and/or westerns and can stomach Costner, it could be very good. I can do all of the above, so I like it a lot.

The last bit can be a hit or a miss. I'm not too familiar with his work as a director, but I don't mind him as an actor.

But I do like the occasional epic and/or western, so I have a good feeling about this one.

It's a good epic movie. I only like a few Costner movies. This, Open Range, Untouchables are my top 3.

Well, I am still employed, so that's good. New owners have not chopped any more department heads off. Yet. Supplier costs are going to plummet with the new owners, and business will increase, so things are looking up. Finally figured out what to do with my terminated 401k plan, too (which is NOTHING - I am going to leave it where it is and let it grow, cashing out now would be way too costly).

Glad you survived it! When I switched jobs, I rolled mine to an IRA. Not sure if you can do that or not.

Thanks! Yup, sure is an option, and I may still do that (more freedom with IRAs). Slight complication as I have loans out against my 401k which still need repayment.
