I buy them if:

I don't have any of the films already.

I have one of the movies already, but the other 2 or 3 fit a theme. Then I just sell the single disc version that I have.

I really dislike them for no reason at all. I haven't purchased any yet but there are some that I have come to pulling the trigger on. If they're seperate discs I'll consider and hopefully find a way to do custom covers and give them the seperate cases. I don't know why I'm okay with buying box sets but not double features... I guess maybe because I have my collection alphabetized and some of them would throw my OCD into overdrive.

Yeah, that worked out since the only extra features were the film's trailers.

You're not too sure of yourself, aren't ya? How can you dislike anything, and you don't know why?

Correct. It's unexplainable. I just see that it's a double feature and I rule it out. I wish there were an explanation... maybe I could fix it.

Just stick with movies where there are only two movies in the series.

Here's another one:

I only buy these if it is the only way to grab a film, or if the movies together are from one series.

I would never be caught dead though with any of those random double or triple packs though, I don't care how much money I will save. That being said, I'm fine with them if they are a series like the Ninja Turtles triple feature, and would be okay with the Blade and Matrix packs if I didn't already have them in box set form.

I have thought long and hard about grabbing the Chuck Norris four pack for $10. It's a great price, and it at least they all have the theme of being Norris films, but I have held off and think I will just pay more and grab the single discs, as I know it will annoy me if they ever release Delta Force 2 or Missing In Action 3.

I have held off on both of these as they are for some reason missing all their DVD extras. They don't even include their trailers which is even stranger since the Grumpy Old Men single disc does. And it's apparently not a space issue as they both have lots of free space on their 50GB discs. They should have at the least released Grumpier Old Men by itself for those who bought the first release.

Those I suppose I could handle. I've kind of wanted the Crocodile Dundee one for a while and I think it's even listed as being two seperate discs. Is there a noticeable drop in PQ when they share the same disc? I haven't watched the discs that do this even in the collections (i.e. Saw).

Can't stand them!!!

[Show spoiler]

While in most cases I'd prefer individual releases I'll take a multi pack if the price is right. I will skip those that take individual releases and cram them on one disc while lowering the quality and losing features. Those I avoid. BUt if they are the same content I don't mind as much. While I love packaging in the end the content & quality are most important to me. Also, it is a bonus to save on shelf space.

I generally don't, but I'm not totally averse to them. I bought the Logans Run/Soylent Green/Omega Man pack because it was too tempting, but generally as a rule if I do it'll be the same franchise like with the Potter movies. But I have been tempted to get one particular mixed pack recently...the FireFox/Enforcer/Sudden Impact/Absolute Power pack...really want FireFox as a single but you can't get it domestic and not about to shell out 30 bucks for an import.

Extras aren't a deal breaker for me..I just want a quality transfer of the movie. So sometimes they just make too much sense economically.
