Because it wouldn't suck with the original cast back??

Have you seen Carrie Fisher lately?

or Mark Hamill?

or Harrison Ford for that matter?

I'm sorry but, these are not the actors you are looking for

So, WDW faces stiff competition from the Universal Harry Potter expansion.

I would say that today, that war just got a whole lot more interesting.

Forget a Star Wars ride...get ready for a Star Wars *land*, if not an entire SW Theme Park.

Why doesn't this excite me? I like when people own their own stuff.

Will lucas still have a say with what goes on?

Lol -yea, nobody wants to see those people in this type of film series (again). HF can still do the movies he makes nowadays, but not any SW films.

You can pretty much bank on this happening. The kids may care about Potter...

But the Parents who have the money and the power are likely going to be Nostalgic Star Wars fans.

Christopher Nolan? The man who can't even do a decent comic book film? You want him doing a Fantasy Space Opera?

Christopher Nolan: "Ok, I don't want any aliens appearing in my Star Wars films. Aliens arn't realistic!"

I'm stunned and excited. I think it will be great to see. On returning cast, maybe they will, maybe they won't, who knows at this point. I for one wouldn't mind seeing Harrison Ford back, so what if he's 70, still love him.

And if Indiana Jones is part of this too maybe we'll get a part five where Spielberg doesn't have to Lucas's crazy ideas and go back to the old school storylines.

We'll agree to disagree on the "decent comic book film" line, since for me they are far and away the three greatest comic book films of all time.

That being said, Christopher Nolan isn't doing Star Wars movies anytime soon. I am pretty sure he is going to be focusing on his own projects going forward after getting away from Batman.

I have been trying to think of who might be a good choice to direct, realistically...

I can see the Thrawn Trilogy maybe being adapted by Pixar or Disney Animation.

But not very likely to see it adapted in live action. Not given what the current cast looks like.

Episodes 7, 8, and 9?!? Are you kidding me?? I love the original 3 and the last 3 left a sour taste in my mouth. Don't make things worse by trying to cash in by making 3 new flicks, especially after a lot of us bought the complete saga on blu ray!!!! If it ain't broke...

I wonder if that means we'll see some SW characters/worlds in a future Kingdom Hearts game. That would be pretty awesome
