i see that, on the picture of the back throw away cover. however, the insert that actually has the codes on it only lists or mentions UV also, the two redemption sites listed are UV only. there are no iTunes copyrighted symbols or registered trademark apples on this sheet with the codes.

i'm not saying your wrong, the code might work for iTunes, but on the insert, it doesn't say anything about iTunes.

i'm also only referring to the version/insert that came with the walmart exclusive that includes both movies 1 & 2 it is possible that all the other single versions of #2 only come with both UV & iTunes.

also, paramount is one of the studio's that when offering a code that will work for both will only allow redemption for either or, not both.

perhaps others who have the walmart version can confirm what their insert says.

Digital Code.

The slip only indicates UV for both Anchormans but I put the Anchorman 2 code into iTunes and it was accepted and I downloaded the movie.

But iTunes rejected the Anchorman code.

Anyone have a suggestion on how to contact Paramount? This seems to be a major F'up.

I also bought the regular combo from Best Buy to get the DVD and the 100 points. The slip in this package indicates both UV and ITunes code.

Looks like a total screw up by Paramount. Hope they will make it right like Lionsgate did for Catching Fire.

I redeemed both codes on UV and received a 3rd movie "and now ladies & gentlemen"

so here's what I was able to get:

anchorman 2 iTunes and UV
anchorman 1 UV
received a 3d move by redeeming both UV codes

no iTunes for anchorman 1

I cant think of a Paramount film I've bought that didn't allow me to use my redemption code for both iTunes & Ultraviolet. I've always been able to redeem both, every time.

After looking more closely last night under better lighting that mark on the right hand side is definitely NOT a defect...it is in fact the separation of the hair and collar and does match the color of the background on the left hand side.

Such a nice steelbook.

My code for Wolf of Wall Street last week only worked for UV - tried it for iTunes and it didn't work, then I realized the J-card said one or the other, not both. So I was happy with the UV and threw out the little code slip. I'm surprised people are able to do both for Anchorman 2, I didn't even bother trying iTunes after redeeming the UV.

You're right about that code, but it was only advertised as iTunes redeemable. Every other code from Paramount, that advertised UV & iTunes compatablity, I've been able to redeem on both digital formats.

i give these codes out for free on one of the movie code forums and we found out that some of the codes that say both itunes & uv actually had written on the insert "either or, not both" and most of the time it was paramount. of late, they have done that stating that the code will work for either, but only one.

i use to think it was someone who i gave the code to for say itunes and they got sneaky and used it for uv too or accidently selected uv because when the other person tried to use the code for uv it didn't work. i then began to read some of the tiny fine print and it said "either or, not both"

not all studios do it, but some do. that's why i careful when i have a code that supports both formats from a single code to read it to see if that statement is in there. this way people don't pm me that it said "code not valid" when they try to redeem it for their chosen format.

more back on topic, this is a great looking steel (to me) inside and outside; love the covers too. also, i'm glad they gave 2 blu-ray discs for each movie, i kinda hate that they put extras or "exclusive" stuff on dvd's sometimes.

I just watched the R rated version last night and I can't believe they cut out that huge musical number in the middle. It was awesome and I couldn't stop laughing.

Will anyone pass on a steelbook because there is tiny rips in the plastic...I am too OCD and keep a copy sealed and trying to find my definition of perfect is impossible!!

Picked this up yesterday and I love the front of the cover art! The rear art isn't bad per-say but I'm not overly fond of it. But definitely a good pick-up for $16.99!
