If my memory serves correctly, VUDU/TargetTicket were the only options and you can't redeem multiple times.

Does anyone know how Hannibal Season 2 redeems? Is it Vudu plus uv through Flixster?

Just getting into this UV thing. I have a Flixster account and a VUDU account, but I think I prefer Flixster.

Anyway, I want to redeem E.T. The Extraterrestrial. It's giving me the option to redeem from several sites, including Flixster, Vudu etc, but also Universal's redemption site. If I redeem it at the Universal site, it notes it 'entitles me to other exciting features'. What does that mean? Will I get to view special features if I redeem from that site? And if I redeem it there, will I still be able to watch it in Flixster? I'd like to have all my movies viewable from Flixster if possible, but not at the expense of missing out on special features.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

I use Vudu, so I always redeem all of my movies at Vudu. If a movie loses its UV rights, then it will only show on the website where you redeemed it. So if you like Flixster best, I would redeem all of my movies there in case they ever lose their UV rights.

I've never redeemed anything at the Universal site, so I can't say what special features you might get.

If you redeem through Universal, you'll be able to download the movie directly from Universal's site. And it will still transfer to the other sites your UV account is connected to. If you redeem through Flixster or Vudu, you'll still be able to stream the movie on Universal's site but you won't be able to download the movie from there. You lose that option.

I guess that's what they mean by "exciting features" because they don't give you squat when it comes to extras/special features.

I've had a few movies that have lost UV rights but they stayed UV in my account and were still watchable on other UV sites.

I know if u redeem thru vudu 1st then flixster should still be active

Generally, Universal download-only codes will redeem directly thru the iTunes Redeem page without having to go thru universalhidef.com. For older codes where that site permits only one choice of Vudu, iTunes, Amazon or Windows Media, you can redeem there for any of the non-iTunes options (preferably Vudu as that gets you a UV copy), then redeem directly at iTunes to get two copies (one iTunes + one UV/other). For newer codes that give you one UV + one non-UV option, depending on the non-UV options available you could get up to three copies (one UV + one iTunes + one other) by redeeming the UV and a non-iTunes option there, then redeeming directly at iTunes. (Alas, recent codes have offered only iTunes & Windows Media at most as non-UV options, and I avoid Windows Media like the plague.)
