Still not sure what to do about this game. I only play Multiplayer and thought Ghosts was horrible. I loved Black Ops II. Usually it comes down to the level design. I hate it when they make a COD like a rat maze where you can only stay alive if your constantly moving. With the new aspects of this game, I really dont know if I will like it or not. May have to wait for reviews and non fanboy player reviews lol.

I traded in my copy of Ghosts today at Best Buy and got a $20 gift card + a $10 off coupon for AW. So I'm getting AW for $47.99 (GCU members get 20% off) - $20 GC -$10 coupon = $17.99, plus I get a $10 certificate for preordering. Not bad.....

Didn't Sledgehammer say they were putting some extra focus on the campaign and trying to make it longer as well? Maybe they did it in 5 hours with it not being on Veteran?

I'm thinking the 5 hour run time was on the easiest mode and a speed run. Actually taking your time on a harder setting will get you more than 5 hours I'm guessing.

I feel the same.
All the videos I've seen look way too frantic, like a constant 'Cranked' mode type of MP experience. Makes it too

all the time. Probably a lot of respawning going on constantly.

That's what I figured. While it's COD 5 hours seems too short to be on Veteran.

Call of Duty games aren't known to be the longest of games in terms of how many hours you need to complete the campaign. Typical clear times are under 10 hours. This year's game has me particularly excited for its story, however, as actor Kevin Spacey is playing a major role and I think he has the potential to make this game memorable.

I hear ya. When I look at the videos, it looks like people literally just running and jumping all over the place with absolute chaos lol. I know others wont agree, but it just does not look fun to me..

Isn't that every COD game though? This will be my first COD game but from videos I've seen of past COD games the MP looks the same gameplay wise. Fast and chaotic.

It will test your reflexes yeah, so those of you who don't have good twitch reflexes will struggle.

Even though CoD can be chaotic, there is nothing stopping you from slowing your gameplay down and being more tactical and methodical. It works. (not talking about camping here). You can still move from one advantageous spot to another just more methodical than some run 'n gunners.

Running around like crazy throughout the map with not much thought will get you worn out.

Somewhat, but this looks like its 5x faster. If you go on gamespot.com and watch some of the youtube player interviews, the one thing they all say about this new one is that its much faster than past games...

I went to BB yesterday to trade in Ghosts for this and the dude was saying that I should wait until release day to get the deal. But then I wouldn't get the $10 in RZ certs. Now I have to go back and do it . I'ma punch that kid and then myself for listening to him.

Why would he tell you to wait? The deal for the trade in runs till 11/1 according to their site.
